What a superb community and loving and knowledgeable team, could not recommend enough! We have been part of the community for over a year now and attended all sorts of training and social events, from puppy classes and socials, to weekly adult socials, training walks, a camping weekend in the Lakes (phenomenal, as expected! ), fun competition day and also used their daycare, which our spaniel cannot get enough of! We have even created a separate little group as new found friends and been renting the paddocks for additional fun filled sessions - DAC has helped us find a completely new group of friends and we are eternally grateful. Steve and his team just love what they do and have hearts of gold, always ready to assist with any case or queries and have a good laugh along the way. Highly recommended and all activities they offer. Had this been around when i had my Old Lab he would have loved it. I’ve been going since i got my beagle boy for the last 10 wks and we both love it so much, my Saturday mornings/afternoons are now all about me and my dog. would definitely recommend Dog Adventure . a massive Thank you to Steve for today's session with Maude . Maude has had problems with dogs out walking . I was always under the impression that she just wanted to attack. Within five minutes of training with Steve we had Maude off lead with his dog . My heart was pounding waiting for fur to fly . Nothing happened apart from Maude having the time of her life playing with Steve dog . I now understand the problem is me and not Maude . Steve has given me loads of wonderful advice to work on , and how to understand her body language . I now feel confident enough to say that Maude will soon be able to play in the open dog play sessions . She has had a wonderful time and I have learnt so much . I went for a social assessment with my new border collie, so I can take him on the socialisation walks, it’s so worth it for £15, Milo was assessed, I’m guessing to make sure he won’t go attacking other dogs on the walk before they invited him on to them, but we got so much more than that for our money, the guy we saw knew everything, he explained why he acted a certain way whilst walking, about his body language and behaviour. He explained that my border is from ‘working stock’ and what this means, he also advised on dog food as he hasn’t eaten well since we got him, weighed him for me, recommended a food (which by the way, he loved, Thankyou!) and was able to tell me that he’s underweight, and how much to give him, based on his current weight, and how much he wants him to gain! Honestly the advice and knowledge I received on my new dog, was worth far more than £15! Thankyou for all your help today!! More...

We had some 1:1 training sessions with Steve. The aim was to get to the point where our dog was able to socialise with others (open play). The training sessions were a great mixture of advice and practical support as well as structured 'homework' (to train us more than our dog!). What do you love most about your job?
Most people dont realise that it is relatively simple being a good dog trainer but much more trickier to be a good communicator with people. We work together with both dog and owner to build a strong relationship together that will last a lifetime not just the 6 weeks of a class. Nothing makes us happier than seeing a happy dog and a calm, relaxed owner
What inspired you to start your own business?
All our dogs are rescues which came with a vast array of behavioural problems and now they all fit into any social situation asked of them. Honey Bee (The Original Adventure Dog) had huge anti-social issues and we couldnt get on board with the very harsh training techniques people were using so we educated ourselves and learned how to deal with problems in a calm and relaxed way. Our Head Trainer Steve now works all over the UK helping dogs with difficult problems.

1-2-1 Training
A hour long session dedicated to you and your dog. You arrive with issues and loads of questions and we aim to give you as many answers as possible as well as hands on expert insstruction

We have a whole host of Socialisation Activities you and your dog can get involved in. From 121 work thorugh to off lead group work.
Dog Walking & Daycare
Either from your home or at Teh Dog Adventure Centre we care for your dog like they were one of our own
Behavioural Consults
This is our foundation of the Company. We specialise in dealing with Anti-Social and Problematic Dogs and there is nothing we havent handled.
Dog Adventure Shop
A whole shop dedicated to just dogs. We only sell products which we have tried and tested so you know you are getting advice from someone who knows what they are talking about!
