What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Knowing your music and knowing your crowd. You can be playing amazing music but your party aren't feeling it, you have to give the crowd what they want to make sure everyone has a good time. And having a good time yourself! Watching a bored DJ is the biggest buzz-kill.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style is predominantly focused on the soul, disco, funk genres. Disco & soul music makes people happy, makes you want to dress up and go wild. I am a disco diva at heart.
But I also collect and listen to a lot of jazz, rap, hip-hop, ambient, chill... Most genres except classical (yet)!. Working in a record shop helps to expand my musical horizons and selections.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting the opportunity to get people dancing to, listening to and loving good music. It's an honour to play music at peoples special ocassions and see them having a good time! Plus I get to listen to music all night and sometimes have a dance... What's not to love...
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm focused on the music, on my clients and the crowd. I might bring the vibes but this event isn't about me, it's about you and your guests! I'd never say no to requests, I'm an approachable and respectful DJ who listens to their crowd. Between your needs and my tunes, we'll get the party started!
