I’ve seen DJ Chubbs in action everywhere from a small private club to The Rex with The 58s. I hired him for a Halloween party at our house, and he did not disappoint. When it came time to choose a DJ for our wedding, there was absolutely no question. From the day we booked until our big day, he went above and beyond. I'm also a local Pittsburgh DJ and sometimes when I'm not working I go check out other DJs in my area. After a gig one night I stopped by Cal's Cantina to see who was the DJ. As soon as I walked in I was immediately impressed with the music choice and wanted to dance. I also, of course being a DJ, wanted to talk to the DJ. I'm always hesitant to bother someone who is working, but Chubbs was so inviting and personable when I went over to talk with him. I also watched him mix for a bit and he is GOOD. His transitions between songs were clean, he uses professional software and equipment, and he knows how to read his crowd. I told him that night and I'll tell all of you on Facebook I would recommend Chubbs to anyone who needs a DJ for any kind of event. Hire him!
