My dog had wallowed in something nasty and needed a wash bad! Took her here and they provide everything you need- a big enclosed tub, shampoo, brushes and scrubbers, and a vinyl apron so you don't get soaked in the process. My dog was so happy because I stayed with her, the water was warm, and I scrubbed her sparkling clean. It was much more relaxed then a freezing shower in the back yard with the hose! And only $20! The experience was absolutely wonderful! Our pups Lucy and Cedar smell and look incredible! The owner was so helpful with getting us all set up, she guided us and answered all questions we asked. Love the staff and services at Dirty Dogs! The owners know what they are doing and take care of Charlie very well every time we go, even if he's reluctant. We are always greeted with a hello from staff members and everyone has always been friendly, helpful, and professional. They even made sure I was aware of Charlie's skin condition. The front room is always clean and the rear area where dogs are actually cleaned and cut is clean as it can be for a dog grooming boutique. First time visit today and all went well. My dog was nervous but they let you go into the back grooming area so being with him helped with his fears. We had his nails trimmed with a grinder, and also had the fur on his feet cleaned up. The groomer spent a nice amount of time and was careful and tender when moving around his legs and feet so she could work.2 areas they could improve-1) Put up glass between reception and the grooming area to eliminate noise. Took my boy Riley to Dirty Dogs Spa here in Wake Forest after boarding at a nearby facility. He had the expected funk of 3 days of fun and I wanted to try their "self-service" dog wash. They were very accommodating, answered all of my questions and gave me a great tub with supplies to wash my boy. They checked on me frequently to make sure everything was going ok. Thankfully, Riley has no issues getting a bath so we were fine. Once we were done, the owner did strike up a conversation with us, explained about her other facility in Durham, gave Riley some treats and invited us back. Definitely a great local option if you want to wash your dog yourself, which I love to do. Dirty Dogs is my go-to place to wash my dog every 2-4 weeks. When I first brought my dog here about 3 years ago, I probably would have rated Dirty Dogs 4 stars. But, I have noticed a big improvement over the past year in the enthusiasm, attentiveness and helpfulness of staff. And, in the cleanliness of the bath tubs and of the shop as a whole- the factor that is most important to me). So, if you weren't impressed enough in the past to return, I encourage you to try Dirty Dogs again. The convenience can't be beat-- so much better than trying to wash the dog with the garden hose in the backyard! The fact that staff greet my dog by name and seek to alleviate his anxiety about baths also means a lot to me. More...

The owner called me the next day and asked that I bring my dog back in to have the cut fixed how I wanted, so she worked me back in with Courtney and I explained again how I wanted it and she did a great job! OMG!!! This was my first visit and I was so embarrassed because my Shih Tzu's fur was matted and he showed some aggressiveness to the groomer so i was nervous! !!
