Me and my dog took the Beginner Parkour workshop. We have been doing Parkour for a couple of years but learnt quite a bit still. The class was small and we all got equal one to one time with the trainer, Callum. We enjoyed it so much we are coming back soon to take the Tracking class. More...

Calm, relaxed, non judgemental, confidence building, knowledgeable and informative - I cannot speak more highly of Sian . I had 6 one to one sessions with her ( and my dog !) and learnt so many new skills - should really be called developing owners!! Only worked very briefly with Callum but was impressed and will be signing up to some of his workshops too. Easy to use booking system, great facilities and great team , I cant recommend highly enough . Thank you , Susan. More...

Excellent, safe walking. Plenty of room for two running dogs to run, and plenty of objects of interest with excellent sniffing and climbing opportunity. The area contains two ponds for swimming, a copse with rabbit holes and other interests, a small mound/hill to clamber up and enjoy the view from and plenty of flat grassy area for speed running. The field is fenced all the way around, and the entrance has a gate that can be locked.frok the inside so that only you can control entering and exiting. The car parking area is spacious enough so that you can keep your distance as needed. A great space for your dogs to play in, train in, learn in and exercise in. Highly recommended. More...

Just had first Life Lesson with Sammy our Border collie we have had for only 9 days, although he is a three year old rescue dog we have a way to go with him, but already we have have picked up tips to get him to focus more on me although he does think every other dog is wanting to play with him, with more lessons at Developing Dogs and patience we will get there, looking forwards to the rest of the Life Lessons course.

We have had 3 sessions of beginners life skills so far and they are amazing- not only is our pups confidence growing, ours is too!
Dougie our 7 month old goldendoodle loves every minute of them.
We have a fair way to go with him but I couldn’t ask for kinder and more professional trainer in Gemma and the rest of the team!
We have received a great deal of support since day 1!
Thank you Developing dogs!

Sian is an excellent dog trainer and my dog think she's one of the best people there are. She's using positive reinforcement and a good understanding of dogs body language and reactions to create a better understanding between owner and dog.

It's a great team. They are friendly and welcoming. They have years of experience between them, so nothing about your dog will phase them. The classes and training activities are well run, carefully thought out. There is a massive fenced off field with a little lake, mounds, and wooded area that can be booked for dog walks without anxiety. The team are brilliant with dogs and with humans. More...

This is what one of our clients had to say about us:
Hugely recommended! Developing Dogs helped me turn a miserable dog ownership in to a respectful, joyful and wonderful one.
Rupert is a highly strung, intelligent dog and no previous attempts to find a good relationship with him had been fruitful. Working with Developing Dogs has transformed my relationship with Rupert, I still use all the tips, hints and techniques that I was taught 18 months ago - if ever things start to go awry I go right back to what I was taught and we are soon sorted.
What I learnt is to listen and respond to my dog - this has been completely transformational. I really didn't like my dog and couldn't imagine ever liking him before Developing Dogs helped us. At best I thought I would tolerate him as the first year of him boring with us had been largely miserable. He's now 2 years old and we all adore him and dog ownership is a delight. I'm sure all of this comes from the techniques Developing Dogs taught me, but also the deep respect that they show for both dogs and owners! I never felt judged or belittled, only encouraged.
We all love our dog and it's such a joy and a privilege.
Rupert - labradoodle (2 and a bit) and family
