Derby pyclet catered for a private party for me. All the guest comment on how lovely the food was and choice of toppings. They also thought it was a nice unusual choice which added somthing extra special to the event . I would definately recommend higherering derby pyclet parlour to anyone thinking of throwing an event. Favourite is definitely the smoked salmon and horseradish cream! Delish! And a pot of old fashioned tea. Service is great and very friendly. Get yourself down to the pyclet parlour and enjoy some derby tradition in the beautiful derby market hall.

Lots of choice on the menu and healthy options to tantilise your tastebuds. There's also the option to take some home to have the next day!

Came in to the Post house for a birthday lunch today. Ordered the sharing platter. Oh My god. It was amazing. The chips were delicious and the Pyclet's, where do I begin. I was sceptical about pyclets with meat and other toppings. I was so wrong. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious. The meat was so tender and the chutney was beautiful. The Welsh rarebit again was beautiful. I loved the tomato and ham one as well and I hate tomato.
The move from the Market Hall was an excellent decision. I am definitely coming back.
I also had the Go bananas pudding. Banana in a pudding and you are on a winner in my book. This was (sorry Mum) the best banana pudding I have ever had.

Spent some time chatting with the ladies there as well and they are lovely and clearly so passionate about their work. It's so nice to see. More...

Lovely food, lovely people. Would go here again. HOWEVER they never seem to have bananas which is a key ingredient in the "stuart special" which looks delicious, but as they never have any bananas in, I am still yet to try this delicacy.
