Due to a serious Achilles heel injury, the pounds soon went on my waist, so i decided to take up jogging along the seafront to shift it. But this became boring & monotonous. My trainer, Dennis advised me, the time of day i did my cardio-vascular training was just as important as to how intensely i worked or how far i go. He also introduced me to interval-training & the influence of meals. He gives a friendly & excellent service. I would recommend him to anyone. More...

Brilliant! Dennis is the best personal trainer by a country mile, I lost 17 pounds over 10 months and the whole experience was life changing. Only a move to Hanoi stopped me continuing my weekly sessions. Make no mistake it is hard work, especially the first three lessons, and you have to watch what you eat - you are allowed one cheat day a week- but it is so worth the effort. Highly recommended. I have been training with Dennis for a few years now and I have really benefitted from his programme, whether the goal is to improve my general fitness and strength or increase stamina and endurance to get me around a marathon course. He pays special attention to details of posture and technique so that effort is applied properly and safely, while at the same time raising your performance.I would not have reached my level of fitness or worked as hard without his training and motivation.He also happens to be a very nice guy with it! I had always weighed about 100.3kg with dieting and exercise. I then decided that I wanted to achieve 90kg.This became my new year's resolution for 2014 to weigh 14 stone by my birthday in April.

Previously, my method of losing weight was to cut down on my meals and more gym work.

As stated I cut down meals and did more gym work.

I wanted help losing weight as what I had initially lost, I had put back on once I started slacking.

I wanted help as I never went below 98kg!!!

Upon starting the nutritional plan , the first four days was a challenge. But once I saw I was losing the weight the incentive became easier.

In the first 10 days, i had loss 5.5kg but due to the type of work i do & family commitments, i was unable to maintain the strict diet regime.

I did not want to lose the amazing gains i had made in the first 10 days. I explained the difficulties i was going through to Dennis.We sat down & he re-evaluated an easier diet regime for me to follow.so i could maintain it during my hectic daily lifestyle.

I reached target weight of 90 kgs within 8.5 weeks of starting this diet.A full 3.5 weeks before my birthday.I have lost 10% of my body-weight with relevant ease & way ahead of my schedule!!!!!
I can now enjoy jogging whereas before i hated it but now i am 10% lighter there is no pain in my knee joints.

I used to take a 38" waist in the trousers but now i wear a size 36" & even that i have to take in.
Yes I would recommend this trainer as his diet and exercise plan definitely works!!!

I am more than happy to write a review...here you go:

I trained with Dennis once a week for over a year and I was overwhelmed with the results. I had been going to the gym for years before but seen little change in my body shape or overall level of fitness until I started training with him. Working on weights and boxing, I toned up, went down a dress size from 12 to 10, saw my general strength and fitness levels rocket and my confidence improved massively. I saw a marked difference in my body which I haven't lost since. Training with Dennis enabled me to take part in a 10km run, a half marathon and a triathlon, events I wouldn't have tried before, and as well as improving my fitness, the extremely fun boxing training also gave me awareness of self defence. I would absolutely recommend training with Dennis to anyone who is stuck in a fitness regime and needs to change things up and who wants to seriously change their body. More...

I would recommend you as a personal trainer based on my experience of having weekly sessions for most of a year.

I am still reaping the benefits from you showing me now exercises to try and pushing me harder every week, keeping regular records of weights attained and using them as a motivating factor when the exercise was repeated.

I benefitted from a regular review of the training goals and changes to the program depending on what the target was

Your efforts focused on me completing my first 10K worked well and I would not hesitate to book future sessions.

I worked with Dennis at the beginning of my weight loss/fitness journey. As I hadn't exercised in awhile, he was very conscientious about proper form to avoid injury. He made every session tough but fun. I moved away so had to stop training with him but the trainers at my new gym are very impressed with my form and technique. Thank you Dennis. More...

After an initial consultation, Dennis put a workout plan together based upon my needs and my lifestyle, he helped show me where I was going wrong both nutritionally as well as my physical workout regime. "I am a Veggie and Asian as well, used to be skinny 183 cm height with 69 kilograms of weight before I met Dennis. After start training with Dennis, I see myself not only growing in strength but the size of the muscle as well, even just a training session per week that still don't keep me from growing. Now I am 79 kilograms 10 kilograms of pure muscle weight got me very happy, that I am not the skinny guy any more. And all these time of training with Dennis, I can only say I Hate It and Love It, because intense training that he gives would blow your whole body up, but hey! No Pain No Gain right? I have always been fit but never really been strong. I've always found lifting weights to be unsatisfying because I didn't know what I was doing or what would have an impact. I had wanted to get fit so that I could start playing football again having had a few months out and being the wrong side of 30. When we started Dennis explained to me the importance of building up a solid foundation on which to build strength i.e. the legs and back. This made sense to me and made an instant impact on my confidence about lifting weights because I knew that any strength I had was in my legs. I didn't expect to be lifting such heavy weights as quickly as I did and found that each training session I felt stronger both physically and mentally.

When it came to using my upper body for bench presses my mind was telling me that it wasn't going to work but Dennis gave me the confidence to keep trying and keep lifting heavier weights and before long I was lifting them and could see my body changing shape. It was a really good feeling to feel like there were things that I couldn't dream of doing that I was now able to do, after only a few weeks of training.

I have just had a year off, mostly for financial reasons, but am now ready to start training again and know that it will have a quick impact because Dennis has taught me how to lift weights properly and the confidence is there because I know I'm capable of lifting heavy weights. Training gives you the knowledge and the confidence to tackle physical challenges that you would not be able to tackle on your own, I would recommend it to anyone.

Consistency!!! You have to set a fitness goal & stick to it for 3 months minimum.come rain or shine. You can't lie to your body!!! No hard work equals no results.
