I wouldnt be where I am today if it wasnt for Pip... her 12 week 1:1 sessions changed my life, and her bootcamps are the best Ive ever been to (and most enjoyable fitness classes Ive ever been to). In 11 months Ive lost 21lb and 5% body fat (in which time I genuinely was not intentionally hungry once), but the biggest result she helped me to achieve was my outlook. Helping me to start enjoying exercise and to take better care of my nutrition (which is now a habit and not a chore), I really have noticed a pattern in how what I do and eat affects me mentally. Being able to control and manage stress through these things really has been a life changer for me and Im less angry/ stressed and more productive generally. The Day One Wellness approach is excellent focusing on practical steps to get and remain healthy. I particularly like the group fitness sessions especially outdoors. While they encourage you to push yourself, you work at your own pace and can see the improvements if you stick at it. The groups are friendly and welcoming to all ages and abilities and the team is enthusiastic and likeable.I far prefer their approach and venues to a traditional gym. Pip and DayOne Wellness have had a massive impact on our family life. I started out not being able to walk and couldn’t make it out of the house alone after being bedbound by rheumatoid arthritis. A year and 3 months after joining DayOne Wellness, I am constantly improving and my confidence in my body and what it can do is growing all the time, although I know I still have a long road ahead.
