What do you love most about your job?
Every day is different and usually challenging. It can be a day of fighting with brambles, nettles and wild raspberries, or grass cutting and getting the garden looking neat and tidy again. I get an enormous sense of achievement when a job is done well.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having left the offshore industry where I spent 12 years on call, waiting to be sent away, I wanted to do something that meant I could be there for my young family. Gardening has allowed me to do that.
And now they are getting older, I am able to include them in some aspects of my work, which keeps us active and outside.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm friendly, courteous and considerate. I always try and do the best job I can and leave the garden as tidy as possible when I leave.
