Pirate Fest is kid friendly. The entertainers give everyone a chance to participate in a variety of ways. Musicians pass out instruments so that the wee ones can play along. There are costume contests, talents shows, and gong shows. More...

One of the very best festivals in the mid-south, in my humble opinion. Family friendly and far more engaging than bigger faires.

Terrific day spent at the Faire. My sons and I day tripped over from Nashville where we live minutes from the TN Ren Fest which we love, but this faire is so very close knit and sociable. Worth every minute of the drive. We came as a pirate crew and certainly will be back in the fall! More...

I've been to a lot of faires in other states but I must admit, this felt so much more at home. Everyone was super friendly and was not pushy at all. Learned a lot and enjoyed all sorts of music. Lots to do and lots to see. And the food -Yum! It was my grandson's first time ever and got to pet a wolf pup. He was so happy. I asked him what his favorite thing was and he said there was just too many ❤️ More...

We were vendors for the first time at the faire last weekend and were so thrilled with the whole weekend!! All the players were so engaging, the music was lovely and added a perfect atmosphere, vendors were friendly with wonderful artistic wares, activities for the kids, and great food! The knights, Erin Eisenmann and Jarrod Listiak, were particularly talented and delivered skilled performances in jousting, sword play and delivered a wonderful messege about the meaning chivalry. They were an absolute thrill to watch throughout the weekend!! We will hopefully be making this an annual event, and are sad we could do all three weekends. I highly recommend this family friendly event!! More...

While this faire might be small it more than makes up for it with fun shows, great activities, and yummy snacks/beer. The best part is getting to interact with all the other people present. You will laugh, sweat, and form some great memories! More...

This was our second year attending and while it has grown a little bit, this is still very much a baby faire. If you’re used to attending larger renaissance faires, then you will probably be disappointed. Improvements from last year: there were actually turkey legs available! Also, the sword fighting was a lot of fun - I recommend setting up seating there so people can sit and watch other attendees fight. One relatively easy change that I think would really help would be to improve the drink selections for both soda and beer. The offerings included Miller Lite, Coors Banquet, Yeehaw Dunkel, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, RC Cola, Diet RC Cola, and Seven Up - none of which I wanted to drink. If they’d had better beer or even a cider I probably would have stayed longer and spent more money. Still, not a bad way to spend a couple hours. More...

Had a great time. It was our first time. Einstein Simplified was hilarious and fun. The music was incredible. Suggestions: 1: Make it in Autumn or earlier spring. It's too hot for these costumes in 93° heat. 2: MEAD!!! 3: More animals. Possibly a petting zoo? 4: 18$ per person is a bit steep for what's available. More...
