How long have you been interested in magic?
Magic has been my passion for 20 years, started as a hobby growing up and it got me through school, it gave me the confidence to talk to people and make new friends.
When I left school at 16 years old, I worked as a magician in Hamleys Toy Store and Harrods, demonstrating the magic sets for Marvin's Magic. Other jobs include working and performing at The Magic Circle and a Pontins blue coat. In 2016, have built up enough experience to make magic a full time occupation.
I have been a Member of The Magic Circle since February 2012 (age 18) and last year was promoted to the Associate Member of The Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star for performance.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
My magic comes in 2 formats.
1: CLOSE UP MAGIC
Where I can perform smaller miracles right under the noses of your guests. This is ideal for parties, weddings, and corporate events. The best thing with close up magic is that it can be performed in just about any situation, whether it is a mix and mingle magician for a reception or a table magician before the meal is served.
2: STAGE/PARLOR PERFORMANCE
My stand up magic performance is 30 minutes. I have practiced and honed my material at comedy clubs, and open mics for the past 4 years. This is ideal for events which require a stand out highlight. My show consists of knock out magic, blended with comedy and audience participation, the best a magic show should be. Some of the things you can expect from the show is me turning £5 notes into £50.00, making a torn card vanish and reappear inside an orange and my big finale where Martini bottles appear and fill up the table.
