Thank you Daniel for our beautiful photos. My colleagues bought me some time with Daniel to have some photos taken of my new baby boy and my older son. Daniel was really accommodating time wise and even when my eldest was a little temperamental on the day Daniel was really understanding and made us still feel relaxed. Photos are really wonderful. The scheduled time slot is also perfect when you have routines and feeds to think of. Daniel is really laid back too which helps. We arrived at the studio with a hyperactive 5yr old, a 3yr old who didn’t want his photo taken and a 6 month old baby wondering what was going on. Daniel took it all in his stride and was really patient, making us all feel relaxed. Everyone was smiling at the camera in no time. Highly recommend Daniel James photography... we had a family photo shoot yesterday... getting a toddler and a teenager to co-opporate is never an easy task but Daniel was amazing, always thinking outside the box to manage to get pictures of my hyperactive 2 year old and overall making it an enjoyable and fun experience that we all enjoyed. I can't thank Daniel enough for taking our wedding photographs.
From the moment we met him, his personality won us over. He is very friendly and accommodating and an all round lovely person.
On the day, we hardly noticed he was there but the photos he took - just WOW!
He seemed to be everywhere at once and the quality of the photographs he has taken are just brilliant! We are so very impressed and cannot wait for our guests to see the results of his hard work.

My family bought a photo shoot for myself, my husband and three grandchildren, aged 4, 6 and 6 1/2. The whole experience turned out to be such fun. Donning an array of funny hats and boa scarves, Daniel completely won over the children. They where totally relaxed and happy and we all completely forgot we were having our photos taken. The results were an assortment of beautiful, natural photos to choose from, that I am sure we will treasure for years to come.

I took my dog for a shoot and it was great! Daniel was very patient whilst I tried to get my crazy dog to sit still and look at the camera. We felt very comfortable and welcome. I bought a photo shoot for my Grandparents as a Christmas present. We wanted to create some new family shots which could be treasured for many years to come; and we were not disappointed. We won this photo shoot through an Easter competition, we booked it the day before our son turned 1, thought it would be a great opportunity in getting some snaps of our son just before his 1st birthday. Dan was fantastic, spending the time to interact with our son before putting him down to take some photos. He was very patient and very professional. We used props of his to make it more exciting, also aloud us to take our own props which was a giant number 1 balloon. Very satisfied with the results of our family's 'mini photo shoot'. Daniel and Lauren did their upmost to make us feel relaxed. They were excellent with the children, happy to don whatever silly hats or glasses it took to get a smile from our 3 year old. The viewing experience was really useful in helping decide which of the many fantastic photos we should have printed. We recently went to Dan for a family photo shoot which included our 3 children (3, 6 and 9) and their grandparents (89 & 91)! We were slightly worried about all 7 of us piling in with an array of ages however as soon as we arrived and were greeted we all felt immediately at ease! Dan was fantastic with the kids (who were pretty hyper) and the hour flew by with a lot of fun had by all. The photos were emailed over to us within a week and honestly have no idea how to choose from them as they are all incredible! I am very pleased with the service from Daniel James, the price of the photo shoot and the quality of the proofs to choose from. This is the first time that we have used a photographer and we were made to feel at ease. Our dog was allowed to have a look around and settle before the shoot started. Dan took over 400 shots of our dog in under the hour. We could have had more, as there was time left, but we chose not to. The dog had great fun. We have 31 shots to choose from. It is a very hard decision. I am looking forward to going to the viewing next week. I love the web site so that you can look at the photographs at your leisure before the viewing and also allow family and friends to see them. More...

We first went to Daniel for a maternity photo shoot and from the moment we stepped into the studio he put us at our ease and made us feel so relaxed. The photos from that session were some of the best we've ever had taken and we were more than happy to go back for our baby's first photos. We've just had a set of three month photos done with our little boy and Daniel was fantastic with him, he smiled and giggled for the whole hour and didn't cry once. Every image taken seems to capture a special moment and it is so hard to choose when viewing them. My children bought a photo shoot experience as a christmas present for my husband and I. Daniel immediately made us feel at ease, with the whole photo shoot taking place in a totally relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Daniel was very accomodating to our requests for various combinations of the 4 of us. My daughters idea originally was to recreate a photograph of herself and brother when they were 6 and 4, Daniel made this possible and I can't wait to see the results. We approached Daniel to capture both pregnancy and newborn shots around the birth of our daughter.

Daniel was very professional when taking the pregnancy shots and put me at ease enough to dress accordingly to capture the shots we were looking for.

We then had new born shots done. Daniel showed great patience around our daughter and was kind enough to allow us to feed her around the shoot. He also invited us back for a top up session because she had been so unsettled during the first shoot. We were really pleased with the results.

It would be helpful to have received some more pointers on different poses to try as it's very difficult to have confidence to try out different things when infront of the camera!

The cost of the prints is quite high so much so that we plan to purchase the DVD which gives us better value for money overall, although it's far more than we'd have liked to have paid.
