My name is Daniel and I'm a guitar tutor from Hounslow West London. I have 13 years tuition experience and have also been playing in bands for 15 years.
I studied at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford where I completed the Diploma, Higher Diploma and Degree courses and was taught by top industry professionals.

Daniel ticks all the boxes and more. Every tuition is tailored made and delivers result. After one year of lessons with him I can play and read guitar tabs with ease. As a tutor he is not only teaching you but also making sure the pleasure of playing is omnipresent and adapts the tuition to your musical preferences so in the end not only are you learning to play properly but you are also playing music/songs that you know and love.

One year of having Daniel as a tutor and I couldn't recommend a more reliable and professional teacher who will help you progress as far as I have. He provides fun and interesting lessons which maintain a very high standard of skill. Prior to our lessons I had been making the common mistakes found in a new guitarist, which weren't spotted by previous tutors and Daniel has helped iron out these mistakes: from fretting techniques to a bad posture. He is truly beyond compare of any school guitar teachers and really is able to provide the best guitar experience. I've had lessons from Daniel Cheng for the past year and couldn't recommend him highly enough. He's extremely professional and engaging and there's a great balance of technical/fun stuff in the lessons. He's happy to focus on whatever your interests are and provides detailed notes/lessons every session. I went through a patch of 4-5 years of not playing guitar because I couldn't progress technically and wasn't enjoying it anymore. Dan's brought back my zest to play ! Highly recommended him !!! I have been with Daniel for over a year and I have to say he is a brilliant tutor and my guitar skills have improved a lot since. What do you love most about your job?
Seeing the progression in learners in a short space of time, and the variation of music styles I get to play and teach.
Helping beginners from scratch is also a great feat, from seeing someone who's never played before hold down a tune is amazing.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To give back to the community the privilege I had when I was studying and playing in bands at a high level. I enjoy seeing the progress of others and am widely varied in music tastes.
Helping people aspire to reach their dreams and strive for something is a big motivating factor for what I do.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have a lot of experience in playing the guitar and also in rock bands, and had the best training I could get. There's a lot of incorrect information on the internet and beginner type tutors which makes progress of the learner very stunted.
With my lessons all material is prepared and tailored to their individual requirements and you can be sure you're getting lessons from a qualified tutor.
You will also save years of frustration by having structured lessons as I will guide and motivate you to get towards your goals by progressing weekly.

Lessons can be delivered online via Rock Out Loud Live, a streaming based platform run in Google Chrome browser. There is no sign up or accounts to make. Save time and money on travel and learn in the comfort of your own home.
Students should use a PC/laptop with a strong reliable ethernet connection where possible. This will ensure the best experience.
All my audio (voice, guitar, backing music) is run via a mixer and sent to R.O.L.L (no webcam mic audio) and I wear in-ear headphones to eliminate echo.
I offer a test session to check connection.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Chairs are spaced 2m apart and all precautions are taken to prevent the spread of the virus such as room cleaning and ventilation.
