I'm so pleased that we booked Dan as our photographer at our wedding at Knightor Winery. Dan's website really does reflect his style and personality, as his photos definitely tell a story rather than look as though the photos have been "arranged". It was even more important for us to feel comfortable with Dan taking photos as it was just myself and my husband at our wedding. It really helped that you couldn't hear the click of the shutter and you almost forgot photos were being taken, which made us feel more relaxed. Dan also gave us some quiet time whilst we were eating and he was happy to also come to Charlestown after the ceremony to take further photos. Dan was our photographer for our wedding at Trenderway Farm and we couldn't be more glad he was! When he arrived my hair and makeup artist had failed to turn up and to say we were panicking realising that we had 4 people's hair to do with one straightener and a borrowed box of pins was an understatement. Dan however took it in his stride and his smile and easy going nature helped us get on with the job in hand. He even got some beautiful pictures which I'll treasure for ever of my loved ones pitching in to get me down the aisle on time!

He continued to be amazing throughout the day! It didn't phase him just how shy we were at having our photo took and as plans changed throughout the day he rolled with it. He captured not only the big stuff but all those little moments you don't pick up on during the day. All in his effortless and natural style! Not a single photo looks forced or arranged, all are full of natural smiles, love and laughter... exactly what we wanted!

The amount of time, effort and care Dan puts into the big day, but also the editing is invaluable. Our pictures are perfect and reduced most of the family to tears! We can't help flicking through them every chance we get, our spamming everyone on social media with that hours favourite photo.

All in all look no further, if you want a wedding photographer who not only takes perfect pictures but is also a wonderful chap then Dan is your man!

We chose Dan Ward as the photographer for our wedding based on his style as understated and natural but very high spec.
Dan is extremely personable and so easy to get on with. He put my husband and I at ease during every stage of the day where Dan took shots of the two of us.
Dan was so discreet all day, no camera clicking or flashes - in fact many guests commented that they didn't even realise there was a photographer! He looked really smart and blended in as a guest.
We recently received the final cut of photos and we are absolutely thrilled. They far exceeded our expectations and we spent a lovely couple of hours laughing and crying our way through the beautiful pictures. Dan told the story of our wedding day in beautiful style. He captured so much emotion and hidden moments.
Dan ended up being a major part of our day for us as a couple. He was the one common thread from the prep/getting ready shots, to the beautiful nighttime shots at the end of the evening.

We are so pleased that we chose Dan as our wedding photographer. For us it was one of the most important decisions we had to make when planning our wedding as we wanted the photos to capture our day perfectly so we could look back on them forever. We knew finding a wedding photographer was probably going to be the hardest thing for our special day, especially since we are based in Leicestershire and got married in Cornwall!
But Dan was absolutely fantastic, despite us not being able to have a face to face consultation, my husband and i felt completely reassured by the phone conversations and emails we had throughout the planning stage. And when it came to the big day itself, he was absolutely fantastic.
We loved his relaxed style and presence throughout the day, and despite us being both pretty camera shy, we felt incredibly at ease and so happy, and this resonates on our stunning images.

As a newly married couple we had the pleasure of Dan photographing our wedding for us. Not only was Dan a guest at our wedding, he was our photographer too. We chose Dan as our wedding photographer after much research and investigation - his website demonstrated a beautiful, natural and unposed style which really caught our eye and took in the beauty of the venues as well as the people being photographed. Throughout the process Dan was responsive to communication, friendly and easy-going. His presence was wonderful on the big day - he was smartly dressed, friendly and easy to talk to for the guests and wedding party, and most importantly, calming and unfazed when timings started to go awry. When photographing, he blended into the background and was discreet at all times with a silent camera that didn't intrude on people's natural mingling and captured beautiful 'in the moment' shots of all our guests.
