I met with friends here for a wine tasting and Oz provided a great and educational presentation of wine. The wines were absolutely delicious, I fell in love with a sparkling red wine from Italy. The vegan mole was spicy and good, the vegan pizza was amaaaaaazing, and the mushroom kabobs were good. It's a snug and cozy space with a bar and some tables behind the bar. We parked on the street and walked here. More...

Stopped by after visiting the zoo. Note to self: NEVER go to the zoo in October as kids get in free, so every grade school within a 100 mile radius sets up field trips to the zoo in October. .. Ok, now regarding the restaurant; LOVED IT! I'm not normally a fry person unless they're truffle fries, but the Unami fries with the homemade ranch dipping sauce were outstandingly delicious. And kudos to the creative team behind the Crispy Chicken Sandwich as it was very moist and flavorful. Co-owner Anderson C. was personable and helpful. He suggested we split the sandwich which was a good call, as given the enormity of it, we both agreed there was no way either of us could finish one ourselves. The menu is limited but it's obvious the owners gave much thought as to the ingredients of each offering. I will definitely visit Common Stock again as I hear the Avocado Hummus, Nashville Cauliflower and (Nashville) Hot Chicken beckoning me to give them a try. More...

This place is small and reservations are recommended. The food is off the charts amazing! Tapas for everyone- vegan/gluten free/vegetarian! We thoroughly enjoyed the many gluten-free options and, in fact, my husband could not tell they were GF. That is impressive. This is my new fav restaurant. ❤ More...

I am lucky enough to live in a neighborhood that gives me many eating options...all within walking distance. One of these options is The Cueva Bar. I don't have any idea why it took me 7 years to give them a try. I have only heard great things about it from my neighbors and I have met the owners many times and the are wonderfully nice people. Well, anyway.....I went to the Cueva Bar for Happy Hour yesterday afternoon and boy am I glad I did. My husband and I sat at the bar and we were warmly greeted by the bartender. He welcomed us, gave us menus and went over the Happy Hour deals, as well as the daily menu specials. (Happy Hour is: $2 off menu items and $3 off drinks.) We ordered 4 tapas, a glass of Red Sangria and a couple of beers. The food was fresh and very good quality. We enjoyed everything we got but our favorite was the grilled Panella cheese with onion jam and handmade corn tortilla. The service is warm and friendly. The owner is very personable and he remembers his customers. My husband and I will be back again soon. More...

I came here with my friend off a whim and we were so pleasantly surprised with 1. How great the food was and 2. How homey this place felt. I can’t remember his name but the gentleman was so friendly, from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. This establishment prides itself on giving everyone who walks in the neighbor feel. My friend actually lives two blocks away and he yelled out “neighbor” but didn’t exclude me. He took care of my dairy allergy, he was attentive and we loved listening to all the conversations he had with all the other guests. This place was great, get the empanada! We’ll be back! More...

Very delicious. Came last night with a good friend and was blown away. We had the fingerling potatoes with sausage, the carrot mole sope, squash taco. All flavors were dancing on my tongue, perfectly seasoned and very different flavors. I don't normally care for sausage but the andouille sausage is delicious at this place. This place is decorated super cool with Spanish guitars hanging on the wall. My husband and I went to share a bottle of wine and some tapas. -Spanish red blend bottle of wine was delicious and had a hint of spice that I liked. This bottle was part of the "chefs choice" which was $40 plus it came with an appetizer-carrots mole, wasn't my favorite. The sauce was good but everything else on it was pretty bland. If you want mole maybe get the chicken option. -chicken tacos were delicious, juicy and tons of sauce. These were probably my favorite. -flatbread with chorizo, another great option. Large chunks of chorizo and a good amount of cheese More...
