About

I am a one man band, and I offer a tailored catering service to meet your needs. Specialising in private dinner parties in your own home, small-ish weddings, business conference buffets, summer BBQ’s etc..
I have a wonderful allotment garden where I grow as much lovely seasonal produce as I can to support my catering adventures. And all other produce needed is sourced locally and fresh.

Catering

Camilla was superb! Communication was great (emails and phone calls) to understand the party I was planning, likes and dislikes etc. Camilla tailored a menu to our tastes and then came to the house and did absolutely everything (table prep, cooking, tidying up). And to top it all off, Camilla is a wonderful person who we were delighted to meet and enjoy a drink with. Highly recommended! More...

Camilla loves to cook and all her passion gets stirred right into her scrumptious food. And because food has to be fresh, she even grows a lot of what we get to eat. What could be better than that?

Camilla Sharpe of 'Creative Cookery' has been cooking for our residential courses for many years. Her food is imaginative, beautiful, delicious and totally gorgeous. In addition, her commitment to using fresh, local and often organic ingredients makes her food even more special. I have no hesitation at all in recommending her. More...

Q&As

If I were to cook one of my favourite dishes it would be Moorish Chicken with pickled lemons and caperberries, served with quinoa grain with spinach and toasted pine nuts.

I like to have a nice conversation with them and get a feel for the kind of foods that they like to eat. I will then create a menu to suit them and their dietary needs.

I am an absolute foody, there’s not much that I won’t eat, so spending time sourcing nice produce then cooking it to delighted guests...well, you can’t say better than that!

The closure of my restaurant in 2004. I didn’t want to take the plunge to open another place but really wanted to carry on cooking for people.
I much prefer this as you get to travel and get to nice venues, meet lots of different folk and cook a variety of foods!

Any client should choose a caterer with whom they have confidence in. They must feel assured that their meal requirments will be met and the price is satisfactory.
