The carpet in our master bedroom had a couple wrinkles so I called Creative Carpet Repair and they arranged for Hector to come out. He contacted me by text with time estimates both the day before and the day of the appt and arrived on time. After assessing the situation he got to work, removed some carpet and padding snippets, and stretched the carpet. It worked great! Our new puppy ripped up and completely shredded a 4x5ft piece of carpet right in the middle of the living room - I had looked on HomeAdvisor, Thumbtack, Angie's List and couldn't find anyone that did this kind of work. Lastly I turned to Yelp and found Creative Carpet and it worked out wonderfully! Hector came out with a partner and did an amazing job, repairing the foam lining and patching together all our broken carpet - yes you can tell at certain angles that it is patched (partly because the replacement carpet is new) but it looks so much better than we could have ever anticipated! Furthermore, about two weeks later, our puppy did it AGAIN, this time just about a 1ft patch, called Creative Carpet right away and Hector came by and fixed that patch up too! Highly recommend! I called countless places trying to find someone who does (small) repair/patching jobs, and NONE of the carpet installers would repair carpet they didn't install. Creative Carpet Repair was able to come out the same day I called, and repaired two patches for me in less than 30 minutes. Hector was thorough and courteous, and evaluated some other needed repair work for another visit. They have a minimum requirement of $150, which was fine. AMAZING CARPET REPAIR! Cat scratch damage on stairs...Sadly I was unable to find any carpet repair service (Ventura, Oxnard or Hueneme) that didn't have a ridiculous minimum carpet square foot or dollar amount purchase before they would even consider giving me a bid, on top of carpet purchase. I had given up hope of repairing until I Googled "carpet repair" came across Creative Carpet Repair...they are truly CREATIVE! Kyle took the 2 1/2 foot remnant which I had saved from original install and made it work beautifully. I am so happy with the work at a fraction of cost! We had been dealing with large wrinkles in our upstairs carpets for quite awhile. Rather than replacing the carpets we decided to give Creative Carpet Repair a try. I'm so glad we did. We received an approximate quote over the phone based on my description of the problem and then when Tom arrived, he gave me a written quote and completed the work that day. He stretched and trimmed the carpet in 3 bedrooms and a closet and the difference is amazing. Even better he was able to do it without moving the really heavy furniture. While I was vacuuming our apartment, I caught a piece of the berber carpet and BAM! caused a 4-foot run in the carpet which looked awful. I called Creative Carpet Repair to see if they could help and they were awesome. Came out within a couple of days and Mark was the master craftsman who put our carpet back together. He even helped to fix a couple other patches where the carpet had snagged and little kitty claws got to the corner. What was particularly great was Mark was respective of my schedule and made sure to call me to keep me posted on when he could make it out. As anybody in Chicago knows, traffic can be a big factor in any time schedule. There were a couple schedule changes but it all worked out for the best. Highly recommend them.
