Garrett and I could not recommend Courtney Marie Photography enough! There are not enough words to describe how amazing our experience was on our wedding day. Courtney and her team were beyond helpful every step of the way. Courtney took away all of my headaches (literally!), was flexible with our ever changing schedule of events, helped my mom and sister get me in my dress, made photos work when the weather didn't cooperate, and the list could go on and on I'm sure. Her second shooter as well as her shadow for the day were also extremely helpful, holding all my things all the time, putting up with Garrett and his people, and catching a decent photo of our flower girl in the half second she was happy. I found Courtney at a wedding show about 1 year and half out from my wedding and knew I had to have her has my photographer. To say she was awesome does not even cover it. Her photos are authentic and never staged. From our engagement photos to our sneak peeks (still waiting the actual photos), I am in absolute awe. Our guests seemed to have loved her as well mentioning that her and the assistant fit right in with the crowd. They were never in the way or blocking any views. She even helped to cut a pesky tag out of the panties I had gotten and assisted my mother and grandmother with the dress. Talk about going beyond the call of duty.

Courtney Marie was the photographer at my daughter’s wedding last weekend. She also did my daughter’s engagement pictures. Everything that I have seen so far is beautiful. She, along with many fabulous vendors Made my daughter’s wedding everything we had hoped it would be. My daughter was just so comfortable and confident with her choice of photographer it just added to her day. Her engagement pictures were amazing. The reason she chose Courtney Marie was she was at a friends wedding and Courtney Marie took a random picture of her and her then boyfriend,now husband, and it was given to Cathie by that bride and groom. It is my very favorite picture of my Daughter and son-in-law. Pretty soon I think it will be replaced by a wedding picture. I want to see what she can do to outdo that picture. Can’t wait! Just want to brag about the great job u and your staff did at my Daughters wedding I have been to a lot of weddings and I was so impressed on the great job you did You blended right in with the guests a lot of people asked where the photographers were lol not knowing that you were not a guest when I pointed u or your staff out they were like “oh ya I thought they were guest I had 3 people say that too me . I met and Courtney at the South Park bridal show a year and a half before I was to be married. I planned on going to a few shows and see what they had to offer but told myself not to make promises, but just to browse. I came across her “booth” nearing the end of our day that just looked so inviting and cozy and let her tell me her story. She spoke of how she thrives on natural lighting and isn’t a fan of photoshopping because, well if you have talked with her, you know the story, and the cherry on top? Her infamous night shot with the sparkler! Have you ever had that feeling where you just know that something feels right? That’s what I felt talking with her. Her kindness and humor set me at ease that I immediately knew that she was who I needed to shoot my wedding and before I had my venue or really any details besides a date, I told her I would be in touch very shortly. I left that overwhelming bridal show with a huge smile and went home and told my soon-to-be about her and we booked Courtney and Richard. Due to my husbands and I conflicting schedule we weren’t able to do and engagement session with her but I was still extremely excited to work with her! Fast forward to June 23rd of this year and the day had finally come! I can’t even begin to explain how amazing, patient and kind Courtney and Richard’s crew was with us. They made us laugh and tear up (or was that just me ) and really captured our true selves and most importantly we felt comfortable in our shots and that is something that Courtney had promised us and looking at our sneak peeks, she nailed it! She gave us confidence in ourselves to show a little sass and romance and my wedding party had a blast with them! Many of our guests commented that Courtney, Richard and their crew were phenomenal as well! Having 4 cameras at once might seem like they would be in each other’s way but I was very happy to have booked them as a team. The communication and professionalism between them was incredible! If I could give one recommendation/advice to any future brides is please consider Courtney for your wedding. She may look tiny, but her confidence in what she does overpowers her height and her professionalism shines through the lens and I promise she will capture all those moments of your day that seemed like they went by so quickly. Choosing Courtney Marie Photography Inc was one of the easiest and best decisions we made while planning our wedding. We've done a few sessions with Courtney now: a mini session last spring, our engagement session (I also did a boudoir shoot with her that morning, totally recommend it) and now our wedding day. Courtney will keep you laughing and comfortable all day. She is up for pretty much anything and willing to step in and help out if needed (she helped pin up a bridemaid's dress that was too long, helped when zippers got stuck, and has no problem with silly ideas like color throw engagement photos). Courtney's photos are always gorgeous and I seriously can't wait for our completed wedding gallery. The hardest part is going to be narrowing down which prints to put on the wall. We used Courtney Marie Photography for our Wedding in May, 2017. If you are searching for a photographer, you are in luck, you can just stop now! (lol) We have nothing but great things to say.

Courtney (& her team) have such an amazing talent for capturing moments – which is what I wanted most of our pictures to be. I didn’t want 100 pictures of us posing & smiling directly at the camera, some yes, but not all. Those photos don’t take you back to your wedding day – the candid ones do - the photos that show the natural excitement and happiness in everyone’s expression. Our sneak peek pictures were posted when we were on our honeymoon & I’ve looked at them so many times – they are just so beautiful! I cannot wait to see the rest!

Not only did the pictures turn out great but Courtney (& her team) were truly wonderful to be with all day. Your photographer will be the vendor that is with you ALL day – we were so lucky to have fun, professional, easy going photographers. They honestly were the best!

(Unfortunately, the second photographer’s name is escaping me.) But if you are contemplating 1 or 2 photographers – we are so happy we went with 2! I feel that there isn’t a moment of our wedding day that wasn’t captured.

I met Courtney at a bridal expo at the Baltimore convention center. What set her apart from the rest was how approachable and comfortable she made me instantly. She also told me that she would be like a day of coordinator in the sense that when the time came, she would ask for a list of my other vendors (she told us that if we were upset about someone not showing or something going wrong she wouldnt get good pictures thus why she tries to help out and that really sold me!) I wanted my husband to meet her so we drove to another expo in VA and when she made him as comfortable as she made me, we decided to book her! The ONLY thing negative (and its small!) with Courtney was when the time came she never asked for any list or contacts for my vendors like she said she would or any pictures that I absolutely wanted taken (I had made a list anyway and recommend doing so because in the wirlwind of the day you will easily forget some unless they are written down!) but I would still highly recommend her because even though I've only seen the sneak peeks, the wedding pictures are PHENOMENAL. I literally could not stop looking at them and my family is blown away. The day of the wedding Courtney was a jack of all trades. She gave tips of how to get into my dress without messing up my hair, helped my MOH tie my corset and bustle my dress when it was time, and was so easy to be around. She is a skilled photographer. Courtney did a fantastic job on my wedding photography!! She took the time to be with me (the bride) the whole day while her assistant stayed with the groom. Our wedding party pictures couldn't have turned out any better.
