DO NOT BUY THIS APP OR FALL FOR THEIR "FREE TRIAL." They will find a way to take your money and charge your account. I signed up for their seven-day free trial and was billed on day 5. On their FAQ page, they admit that you must cancel 48 hours in advance (meaning it's actually only a five-day free trial), or you'll be charged. This is fraud and unethical. I purchased this app at half price in January and have used it every week since. I wouldn't compare it to a personal trainer but can say without reservation that it has helped me reach new levels of fitness. Having the trainers telling me what to do is definitely more effective than listening to the voice in my head. The interface is not perfect but I just look for workouts in advance and save them to my favorites so they are easy to find. I had trouble doing floor workouts because I couldn't visualize what I was supposed to be doing but the new visual guides may help with that (I haven't gone back to try them yet). More...

Seems like everyone has the same critique. For a company worth hundreds of millions customer service and quality seem to be lacking. UX and UI leave something to be desired. It feels like any other pay and hope you forget app. Company is valued based on Lifetime Value of subscriptions vs streams so that's their only goal to recruit as many as possible and hope they forget. Ugh. This app, I mean seriously. I hate using the word cancer, but in nerd app terms. This is cancer. Not only does their "trial" mean give me a credit card, and say take my money before I even try anything. They hope that you forget you paid them 100 a year for something that you don't even use. Like, it surely was not meant for the average person who works out. They have truly only gamefied one thing in life. Stealing your money and giving you average content because why do they care about you or the other 200,000 subs. They already have you're money for the year. Don't worry if you refuse to do the "trial" they will spam your email till you lock yourself in and hope you forget about it. And lock yourself in forever paying for something. App store reviews all say one thing. The only reason you pay for Aaptiv is because their is no other option. More...

Unbelievable. I purchased this app 2 years ago for I think 49.99 at that time. Their “cancel anytime” was appealing. No strings attached I thought. Fast forward to today, I got charged 99.99 for an app I haven’t touched. I tried calling them and leave a message to no response. Then went on their website and saw their no refund policy in small print. I’m a college student. I was going to buy textbooks with this money. This is a total scam, don’t waste your money on this, once they get a hold of your debit card info, you are done. Aaptiv, if you have any bit of integrity, contact me ASAP and issue me a refund! This is the best app to keep me motivated to work out and has successfully killed my boredom with the gym. I used to dread doing any cardio but now I just pick my workout and my machine and off I go, with direction in my headphones. And best of all, I feel challenged during the workouts and wind up trying new movements as a result to further challenge my body. If you don’t challenge it, you won’t change it and Aaptiv has been great. Oh and the trainers are also responsive when you tag them. Love that. More...

Love it ! This app make me a faster runner ! It pushes me to do things I haven’t before! It take my mind off it being a work out and makes it fun! I don’t recommend it for beginners, there are no videos to show you form. Have a few sessions with a personal trainer or a friend that knows what they are doing and then let loose on the app. I really wish they had the choice of video or no video for the yoga ... More...

Two stars for their terrible website. While an Aaptiv works great on the phone, it's website functional is terrible. I could not find a place to edit my profile, change my email default, either to check my subscription date. I needed to contact the customer for support over a very small issue, and the responsible person seems to have low knowledge on responding to the problem. I remember I needed to ask for more than 5 times for that person to just paste me the link to setting on Aaptiv's website. Plus, what is the problem with your "log in" bottom, as after log in, and I clicked on home page, your website once again appear the word "log in" on the top right on your interface. This is very confusing, unprofessional and a pain for user. I love Aaptiv, especially, coach Benjamin Green, Meg, Candice and Rachelle (because I love running), but I could not stand with your horrible website. You need to spend some money to work on it.
