I wanted to extend my gratitude to Comptons on the sale of my property. Having another solicitor on my onward purchase, and being introduced to Comptons through my estate agent I was really dubious of having two different solicitors acting on my behalf. Having said that, Molly at Comptons was an absolute delight to deal with, very personable, engaging and always a phone or click away from contact. As my sale took longer than expected, I was becoming rather frustrated with the whole thing. Molly was a joy and always at hand to answer even the most silliest of questions. I can’t thank or rate her highly enough, she is definitely one of the best solicitors out there in property. Comptons solicitors-perhaps the best out there in London…My sale of house was a complicated one with an estate agent who offers a guarantee in case your house is not sold within three months and therefore allowing you to still go ahead and purchase your onward house even if your house is not sold. , Comptons were recommended by the estate agents (in fact I had to use them as they prefer to work with a firm of solicitors who understand the complexities of their process) .I was provided a quotation which was slightly higher than most other solicitors in the market so I was bit sceptical. Anyways I decided to try my luck with them. And now I can safely say was the best decision I made that made the entire property purchase process a breeze. My case was handled by Angela Neale who is one phenomenal solicitor without exaggeration. she is highly professional, very polite, astute with attention to detail and extremely thorough and further more always accommodating. Never during the entire process had I needed to chase them to keep the ball rolling. I was provided with regular updates as and when needed – and my questions addressed promptly. Everything happened within the planned timeframe .No stalling or any hidden games.
Given experiences of many of my friends who have sold their property –almost all complained about how much pain they have had with their solicitors chasing them etc. Hence I was wary at the start but now I can safely say Comptons solicitors are worth every penny, perhaps even more.
Special thanks again to Angela Neale – I can only thank her enough for her awesome handling of the entire process. If one decides to go with Comptons Solicitors, I recommend highly you try get hold of Angela for your case. Trust me you won’t regret!
Even after the completion of sale I needed a letter (for the proof of funds) and I got what I wanted within 10 minutes!! 10 minutes! That’s customer service par excellence!
Anglela is very proactive so keeping you updated every time something occurs within process of the sale, Angela is also very responsive when you contact her with any query.
Comptons have an on line portal which you can check to see the progress, only comment I would make which is not very positive is that …its great having such portal but its only useful if you keep it updated! Saying that I didn’t need to use the portal as Angela kept me updated throughout the process.
Finally, if any senior persons from Comptons are reading this, make sure you lock in Angela’s contract with your firm as she is very very valuable asset to your firm ! More...

Rarely am I drawn to write a review but am truly impressed with the exceptional service I have received from Comptons. They have efficiently managed all my conveyancing needs for over a decade and have never failed to not only meet but far exceed my high expectations. Whilst dealing with often more complex cases on my behalf, I was always made to feel as though nothing was too much trouble. Communication was outstanding and any questions or enquiries I or the other parties had were unfailingly dealt with in a timely and above all highly professional manner.
