When you arrive at the clinic, you are greeted by not one, not two, but three employees! Wow, that is outstanding customer service and they made me feel special, and Glory too! She was actually glad to be there. She was given unending attention. She is not one to take to strangers, she sure did like the staff there.When the Doctor came in the room, she proceeded to get on the floor with Glory and gave her some undivided attention and lots of love. The Doctor asked lots of questions and gave her a very thorough examination. The staff ran some test, took x-rays and performed test ordered by the Doctor. After a short wait, the Doctor came back to the room with a treatment plan of action. I was given some test results and detailed instruction along with medication.If you need another reason to take your animals there, the St. Paul Police Department takes their K-9's there for any and all treatments. We took our sick kitty here on a Sunday, and knew that more than likely we’d have to put him down. Everyone was so kind, they broke down the cost right away, gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye, and even made us a paw print clay mold of our sweet boy’s paws after he passed. Under extremely sad circumstances this vet clinic made the best of an awful situation. My best friend, pup, little girl, and most courageous of dogs was dying. They assisted my 13 year old dog pass in peace with the wife and I in the room. I can't thank them enough for being so understanding and helpful. We have brought our elderly dog here twice and have received excellent care both times. The staff were compassionate and caring. You could tell they really cared and wanted to help. Reasonable prices for emergency services. The staff are super friendly. The vet that I dealt with for my dog with kennel cough took time to explain, answer questions, and treat my pet. She provided reasonable treatment options. I know they were apart busy when we went, but we were still taken care of. My dog had been sick and hospitalized for 2 weeks. She rapidly went down hill early Monday. I called them and let them know ahead of time I was on my way to put her to sleep. After calling countless places to find an emergency vet on a Saturday for my rabbit who wasn't feeling well, I was relived to find this place! They started taking his vitals as soon as I walked in the door, which was a huge relief. They were very up front with costs for cremation and possible procedures, and very sympathetic when he ended up passing away minutes after we entered the building. I heard this is the only animal hospital that takes care of hamsters. Waiting for urgent care took 3h for the first time visit and cost $120 urgent care fee. Brought my dog in for a seizure at 10 pm and they took him in right when we got there. The wait to speak to the vet after our dog was being treated was reasonable considering it was a last minute intake late at night, but so worth it. Thank you Dr. Perrera.
