Easter hunt. Started off great. However, we were left in barn with 3yrs old children that we’re getting annoyed with waiting for the horse ride. When asking for assistance, a man in office stated ‘ nothing to do with him’ offered no support as he could see we were upset. Finally, found an amazing member of staff ‘ Trina? And her mum. They were fantastic! Couldn’t do enough for us. The kids loved them. Took an hour and bit to get on a horse but Trina and her mum made the waiting very enjoyable. They are truly beautiful people, with kind hearts. Will definitely be going back. Events don’t always go smoothly but the staff couldn’t do enough. Thank you. X More...

We won the competition for a two night stay for 4 people. So we arrived with our family of four. I had added extras onto our booking too like travel cot and high chair for free which were waiting for us. We also had a lovely welcome pack of fresh Welsh cakes, lager, milk and teas/coffee etc. Such a nice touch! The rooms were a good size and comfy beds. Lots of extras like tea towel, washing up liquid/ some dishwasher tablets etc too. My eldest loved the fact it was an upside down house as we were staying in the Hayloft. The weather was awful on the first day so just ventured into Swansea and the LC2 with great pools and soft play. The second day was a different story and great views from the balcony! First thing my eldest had the new introduction to a pony experience which he loved as got to groom Harvey and then go for a walk around the grounds. Then give him a little treat after. We then went into the mumbles and Gower area all very close by! Would love to return in the summer and check out the beaches! More...
We visited last summer and did the challenge assault course as part of a hen do. We got unlucky with the weather, torrential rain and hail for parts (!!) but our guide was unperturbed, bride trotted out in her wedding dress and we had so much fun!!! Unfortunately, despite all looking forward to showers when we got back, the storm has knocked out the water supply! We showered under barely there dribbles of water but in a way it just added to the hilarity of the afternoon! The lovely staff warmed us up afterwards with tea and coffee in place of a shower, and a brilliant time was had by all! The course was the right level of difficulty for us (8 girls, all in our mid twenties) and there was plenty of mud!! Get ready to get dirty!! Would highly recommend as a hen do activity, and a wedding dress is also a must, for the fun of it ;) (Try Ebay) Someone mentioned afterwards that had they thought if it, they'd have got hold of a bridesmaid dress for me too, but thankfully it was too late.... ;) Thank you Challenge Valley, from a very happy hen crew (8 months on!) :) More...
We had a family day out to do the challenge valley. They said it would be muddy and they weren’t wrong. Fantastic fun

And have visited around 10 times since then. The mud stinks and gets all over you. There are showers and changing rooms both open plan but could be better. The course is a fair course of challenge and fun. There is so much potential there. Don't wear your best clothes, maybe old compression gear. But definitely fun. More...

I took my daughter to their unicorn day event, to say she enjoyed the day is a understatement. The centre is easy to find, the staff fantastic the activities very original to much to mention, but put it this way my little pony on steroids. If you have a girly girl their "pony parties" would be ideal for her. Great jobs guys worth more that what I paid. More...
Took my daughter to the unicorn day event yesterday. My daughter has mild leaning difficulties and hyper mobility and is a first time rider. She was put in a pair with another little girl similar age to herself (my daughter is 9) they were then introduced to the staff and a unicorn dressed up in all its glory which they actually brought in to the room to meet us.
The room was decorated with a colourful balloon rainbow and other balloons, a party table with a pink, sparkly theme complete with neon pink party accessories. They gave us a talk on horse etiquette and then played some party games with the children which they thoroughly enjoyed.
Then the best bit decorating the horses with chalks, glitter, ribbons and flowers and unicorn horns which the children made (all horse friendly) each pair were introduced to a specific pony to groom and decorate. My daughter was nervous at first but when she got to know her pony and realised he was super placid she relaxed and enjoyed grooming him and talking to him .
After lunch the children took it in turns in their pairs to ride their unicorns, not sure if my daughter would ride the staff said she can walk with him instead. While the others were out on their ride they decorated beautiful horse shoes from the horses at the stables with glitter, jewels and paint. When the first group of children returned it was my daughters group turn to ride their unicorn, there must have been some magic in this particular unicorn because as i turned around she was on, ready to ride. Her leader was Seren, Seren was on hand to make sure merry legs (the name of the unicorn) was behaving impeccably (which he did). They played unicorn based games which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. The children then returned back to the stables for tacking. my daughter loved this part as she helped to take off his saddle and gave merry legs a well deserved treat of hay, water and a polo mint. Before the children went home they were given a certificate and party bag. Our overall experience was a fantastic one, thank you to all the staff who made our unicorn experience a memorable one. Seren you're name suits as you were a star, you made my daughters first experience with horses an enjoyable one so much so we will be returning soon for lessons. More...

Went to the 'Unicorn Day' and my 6 year old said it was 'the best day ever' :) The day was really well organised, balencing fun with saftey, staff who were friendly, helpful and clearly love their jobs and the ponies they care for. Lots of unicorn themed crafts, party games both mounted and unmounted and really patient ponies which the children got to craft 'unicorn horns' and flowers for them to wear, pony chalk, stencils and hoof glitter. Epic. More...
After not riding for 12 years, on holiday I decided to try & find somewhere I could take a ride. From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure. Everyone was so friendly from the initial call to book, to turning up & having no idea where to go. My ride for the day, Finn, was fantastic, the young girl who took me out, jess I think(long blonde hair) was amazing. She made me feel comfortable & at ease straight away. Very friendly, chatty & just a fantastic companion to ride with. Thank you so much. I will definitely be back if I holiday in Wales again. More...

Camp fields small and no feeling of privacy if that is what you are looking for. Pot wash has no hot water and a bit grubby, I always camp with some antiseptic spray cleaner so after a quick clean no problem. As a cheap campsite I paid £38 for four nights I have no complaints and the views are stunning, staff pleasant and helpful and 10 minutes drive to centre of Swansea. More...

Everyone enjoyed and got filthy, the instructor, Hamish, was funny and knowledge. The view from the farm is spectacular and must be even better early in the morning. 2 small negative things, the coffee shop is small and is as an old Welsh farm kitchen area it's ok but not brilliant. The showers after you finish should be like a jet wash getting the mud off and out of every part of your body, but they are little more that a trickle. The farm won awards for tourism in 2010 and 2012 which yes it's a great few enjoyable hours spent, however the place looks a bit dated considering the price for the experience I'd have thought they'd keep it fresher. What a good day, everyone enjoyed. More...

Went home in 2014 to bury my dad, live in Australia now, since 1985. Decided to go visit and stay at my childhood stomping ground at Clyne Farm. Had a truly amazing experience. My, then 8 year old son thoroughly loved going on a trek. I went for a ride too, where we used to gallop horses madly around in the 70's. WHS laws don't allow this anymore, however, the young lass that took me out was totally gorgeous. Love this place, love the beautiful staff and the owner of farm really sweet. Take your family there for a weekend, it truly is a beautiful, unspoiled part of Swansea. Gets my thumbs up. Can't wait to get back. Keep up the great work. Juzzy xx More...
