Our wee one absolutely loved the land art workshop! Not only did they actually make some quite creative stuff with found natural objects, but they seem to have had the best fun ever thanks to Claire's immense patience and rapport.

Last week I took my 6 and 8 year old daughters to the summer session at Biggar little quarry. I had my 2 year old with me so hung around for the duration too. I can't recommend it highly enough, if you're thinking of going definitely do it! Claire is wonderful and so knowledgeable, guiding the kids where necessary but not interfering if they are happily getting on with the activities. My older daughter was running around a lot in the trees and my 6 year old helped make elderflower tea and really enjoyed weaving with wool and willow sticks. We booked my son’s 3rd birthday party through Claire. All of the kids (and a few of the adults who had were channelling Bear Grylls) had a brilliant time making dens, mud kitchen, fire lighting and roasting marshmallows. Claire and her team had it all covered. They transformed a corner of our local woodland into a fantastic party venue for 20 children (aged from 3 to 8 years).
The children had a fantastic time, they loved every bit of it, from the den-building to tightrope-walking, from the arts and crafts corner to the mud kitchen, lighting a fire and toasting marshmallows and popcorn over it.
This was an experience and an opportunity for the children to be themselves away from the constraints and confinement of indoor play. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We would love to do this again!
Communication was prompt, clear and concise throughout.

Absolutely loved our Wild Things toddler party! Claire was so organised and took care of everything. She was wonderful with the children enabling them to explore the woodland at their own pace. All the activities were great and the campfire picnic went down a treat. My son is still chatting about toasting marshmallows on the fire! The party bags with their handmade name badges are a really nice touch. I would definitely recommend Wild Things for celebrating a special occasion no matter what age you are - all the adults really enjoyed it too! More...

Attended the spoon class yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed myself. From initial enquiries to turning up on the day, everything was really clear and readily available, with really quick replies. The class was in a great setting and led by a very obviously skilled and enthusiastic man, Davy, and supported by Kieran and Claire. It was the perfect size of group -6, and I felt like there was lots of support, guidance and instruction. I would recommend the class to anybody looking for something different as a one off or trying out new skills for various hobbies (or the start of them). Will look out for other classes in the future. We had a wonderful party in our local woods today for Libby and Joel’s 5th birthday. Claire went out of her way to accommodate our booking and we are so grateful. The wooded area we had chosen was decorated and different activities were set up when we arrived. The kids were so excited. They made and decorated clay faces, built a den, lit a fire and toasted marshmallows over it, played in the mud kitchen and climbed the rope ladder hanging from a tree! In between all this we managed to squeeze in an alfresco picnic round the fire pit, sing happy birthday and have a quick game of pass the parcel. Phew! The kids had a great time, it was so relaxed and they loved getting involved in the activities and then exploring the woodland when they wanted to. Claire and Kieran were so good with the kids and really held their interest. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wild Things and will be looking out for other events by them in the future.
