We recently had our engagement shoot with Chris after making the decision to hire him as our wedding photographer for May 2016. We couldn't be happier with our decision. Chris is such a friendly guy and instantly put us at ease. Jo and I are not the most comfortable in front of a camera but Chris made the shoot so fun and enjoyable. The pictures are beautiful as a result because they were just so natural and full of laughter. The quality is superb and many people have commented on them to say how good they are. Hi Chris I just want to drop you a message to say a huge thank you for being our photographer, the photos you took are everything we could have hoped for, and will remind us of such an amazing day for years to come. As you know even viewing your amazing photos got me really emotional which goes to show how brilliant you are at capturing the moment. Everyone we have showed the photos to, said how beautiful they are, and also made a point of saying how professional you were. If anyone mentions their wedding we would recomend you. For anyone reading this debating using chris we would highly recommend, not only was he fantastic on the day but also drove to our venue (about an hour away) the day before to get an idea of the types of photos he thought would work well in the setting. Book Chris and have one less thing to worry about! Trust me.

Many of my friends are married or are looking into it right now, the one consistent thing I’ve noticed is the worry over picking a photographer, it is one of the most expensive parts of the wedding. I’ll start by saying I would not hesitate to recommending Chris Woodman for any occasion. He was extremely professional, polite, courteous at all times and great with the guests young and old. He was also very competitive on price for the services/package we received. (Great value)

We had a pretty stress free wedding day but one thing we did struggle to settle on was the photographer. Weddings are great, but the photos you get to keep forever, and we were lucky that a friend of mine recommended Chris.

We live in Basildon, Essex but our Wedding was at a Castle in Kent. Chris on his own time went to the venue, a 1hour 30mins drive away long before our wedding and introduced himself to the Castle staff before asking for a tour around the grounds so he could work on some shots and get a feel for the place. Chris also contacted other photographers’ that the castle said had worked there before and discussed the venue with them to get “insider knowledge” invaluable in my opinion and a great touch by Chris.

I’ll not go on too much but really can’t stress how happy we were with Chris and the service we were given. My now wife is pregnant and I already know who we will be asking to take our baby photos!

To sum up – If you need a photographer and Chris is free stop looking around and book him. Job done.

We chose Chris from a recommendation from a family member and the wonderful job he did of their wedding a few years ago. We were not disappointed with the service and professionalism that we received on our special day. Having seen chris' work from our friends wedding who I was bridesmaid for the previous year he was the obvious choice for ours. We recently received our photos and we could not believe just how many there were! They were all so beautiful he really captured the day wonderfully. This made it extremely difficult to choose the ones for our album. He worked so well with our videographer and made us and all the guests feel very comfortable. There is nothing worse than feeling there is a camera constantly in your face but most the time you barely even realised he was there! As we got married in October the day light was limited so during dinner which should have been chris' break he spent the time instead getting more photos outside with us. We are also amazed with the turnaround the photos were ready for us to view straight after we were back from our honeymoon. Which was a lovely pick me up from the holiday blues. Then once we had chose the ones for the album we had our first draft by the next day. Now it's all orders and we only have to wait a couple of weeks to receive it! We cannot thank chris enough. Wow!! What can we say about Chris, we have never met somebody so passionate about their work his dedication is truly amazing! Our photos of our engagement shoot and wedding day are outstanding and we could not have wished for better memories of our day. Chris is very friendly and professional, he always replies promptly to any messages and provided us with great information on package choices that were right for us with no pushy sales pitch. We really loved that we was able to meet Chris at our venue before the big day to go through photo opportunities, this gave us a great idea or how our day would pan out with photo timings and also an idea of the style of photos we would be getting.When our wedding photos were ready Chris arranged a meeting with us to personally show us our photos which was fantastic as he got to see our reactions and we also got to thank him for his outstanding work! Wow! What can I say! Photographs are absolutely fantastic. Chris was brilliant all day. Arrived in the morning when everybody was getting ready {brides choice}. Took some fabulous photographs of the wedding and bridesmaid dresses and a fantastic picture of the blue necklace hanging from Bryonys shoe. My wife and I were looking to find a good and reliable photographer for our Sons wedding. We were recommended Chris Woodman. After the initail phone call I found Chris to be tuned into what we're wanted for our Sons special day with his future wife. Chris came to our house on time and nice and smartly dressed which was the exact sort of person we wanted to take photos for us. Chris photographed our wedding in August 2016 and we can't thank him enough! He turned up really early in the morning as we had a 12. 30 wedding and didnt leave untill late as we wanted to get a couple of eveing shots. It was a full on day in which he was nothing but professional.

My partner and I have always said we don't want a camera constantly in our faces and to be pulled away from our family and friends too much as it's a day that we have spent a lot of money on and we wanted to enjoy it with everyone. He listened to everything we asked of him made sure that we got all the photos we wanted but also made sure that they were natural (not too staged) other than the few traditional ones we asked for. He made us feel extremely comfortable and that's a massive thing on your wedding day.

Looking through our photos when we recieved them was an extremely difficult task and we ended up having to order extra pages as the photos were so lovely it was hard to narrow them down! Chris was extremely patient with the multiple questions and with how long it's taken to decide. I'm really looking forward to receiving our album to show our family and friends!

I cannnot thank Chris enough for our beautiful photos and album, as well as an extremely easy process working with him. From the very first meeting we were put at ease by Chris' friendly nature. He showed us some work and talked through styles that we liked and disliked. There was no pushy sales pitch. He lets his work do the talking. As soon as he left, we knew he was going to be our photographer.
We had an engagement shoot with him and our decision was proved to be a great one. We came away with some gorgeous photos and some of them make up a canvas in our home now! He managed to put us both at ease as we were a little camera shy before we started.
On the day of the wedding, Chris captured all the key moments. An excellent job considering there were two brides! During the ceremony and speeches, we got some great shots. If I'm honest, I don't even remember seeing him. He is very discreet!
Our album is stunning! We are incredibly happy with it and everyone has commented on how lovely the photos and the album are.
We couldn't have asked for anymore and we couldn't be happier with our choice of photographer. His prices were also very reasonable.
