My seven month old son was scheduled for an MRI yesterday at six thirty in the morning. The doctors, nurses, and staff were nothing but, fantastic. I was walked there by a sweet nurse, and was registered in a quick and easy process. I loved that everyone mentioned everything and checked in with me multiple times to see if we were doing ok and that if I had any questions. That helped and meant so much because this was first medical procedure with one of my kids and my brain was all over the place. The doctors and anesthesiologists that put him under we’re also fantastic. They were so sweet and understanding when seeing my son put under, hit me harder than I thought it would, and immediately broke down in tears. I cried when I saw him afterwards in recovery. I also wanted to point out the fantastic nurses who took such good care of him. They made this process for my boy so quick and easy. I couldn’t be more thankful and highly recommend this hospital! Dr Austin’s team is a GODSEND!!!! They have twice saved from son from having unnecessary surgery. We were told twice in Dallas our son needed surgery (once for his diaphragm another to relocate his stomach). Both times we sent Dr. Austin his X-rays and she saved him from it. No one understands his birth defect (CDH) and anatomy like CMH. We will never consult with any other surgery team. They are truly experts in their field and care about their patients. We live in Dallas and twice she has said no problem just send them X-rays didn’t need an appointment. I thank God for these people and wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my son. Everyone from my Obgyn, Olivia Dziadek and Dr Golden, all the way down to he cafeteria worker who delivered my food were nothing short of AMAZING. I really felt like I was the only patient. I accidentally went to close to the exit with my baby ( it was a stair well employee entrance near my room) and the alarm went off. Literally every employee came out of rooms and from the nursing station to follow up. Loved this place!!! More...
