This was a fantastic treat after a long day sight seeing. First off, love the quiet and out of the way feel to it. Located in a basement area, means it maintains a bit more relaxed atmosphere than most. We were sat quickly, and the roasting chicken smell had us ready to eat asap. Luckily, service was super fast after we'd ordered. 1/2 chicken, corn, and Mac and cheese. Corn had a garlic butter drizzle. Amazing. Mac and cheese was obviously hand made and delicious. Chicken was the stand out from it all though. I can't even begin to describe, but juicy, unbelievable flavor, and cooked to perfection. I was surprised to see an empty shop when we arrived, we found out that this location is closing down soon! There is another location nearby but not as close to our flat as this one. Perfect place for grabbing some chicken to eat in Kentish Town. Reasonably priced and very tasty dishes. I had the chicken salad with the sweet potato fries and was great. Cocktails were pretty good too. Their homemade smoky and hot sauces were amazing! Ask the staff for their secret with sauce! Staff was really helpful courteous, one of the best I've encountered! Fantastic spot. Three adults and 2 kids on a Thursday evening. Walked in no booking. The Burgers were fabulous as was chicken and kids loved their food too including crinkly fries. If you want some simple but great tasting chicken then this is the place. Menu options are limited but all taste good. Don't be put off by the name, this is a cosy basement restaurant with good vibes. Would revisit again.

So this is in competition with Nandos. Chicken shop does better grilled chicken and has a nice East London vibe. However, service is not as well trained as in Nandos and Nandos overall is better value. (3.5 stars)

The chicken was sooo good like fall of the bone and full of flavour!! My only regret was that I didn't get a half chicken. They make mean sweet potato fries the right amount of crisp. The brownie was so good and not in an overly chocolatey way which was surprising. The apple pie ❤ didn't even get a pic of it. And the atmosphere was so nice and the waitresses was lovely!
