I had a voucher for the bakery, so i decided to bring my mum out for afternoon tea as part of her birthday treat pamper day. i booked a table over the phone with ease and when we arrived the table was all set out for us. we were served our drinks and then this massive selection arrived in front of us. we were given loads of finger sandwiches, 2 scones each a slice of cake each and 2 cupcakes each. we couldn't manage to eat the cupcakes so the put them in a bag to let us take them home. everything was lovely and we had a great time. I popped in here this morning on my way to a meeting. It was too early for lunch so I just had a slice of their delicious Lennon drizzle cake and a latte - very nice it was too!

The place itself is only small but very light and spacious. The cake was delicious, light and moist with a lemon curd filling and the icing had a perfect balance of sweet and sharpness. The coffee was OK for out of town. I'm used to the kind of standard you only ever get in the city and very hard to please on that score.

Lovely coffee shop, delicious cakes to buy in the bakery and amazing cakes made to order. Had multiple celebrations cake from Antonia and the CBB team and each one has been better than we could ever have expected.

Had afternoon tea on 3 occasions and it's just got better each time. The food is fresh and the cakes are to die for. My sister and I can never finish it so the good thing is what you can't eat they box up for you to take home. Absolutely delicious. So much so that we've discussed when we can do it again

Defiantly recommended for afternoon tea! So much delicious food and prices are reasonable. Went for my mums birthday and staff were so friendly even put a candle in the cake and gave her a birthday card! Option to get gift cards, which would make a lovely gift! If you want great coffee (or indeed a Cheshire version of high tea), this is your place! It's steps away from the boring coffee chains but their coffee is a) better, b) cheaper and c) served by lovely people of this indie gem! Go visit!
