What do you love most about your job?
Helping people to feel comfortable and safe within their own home, it our right to sleep well or go on holiday and not worry about our homes.
But the most satisfying thing is because we include a medical response (in case the customer falls or is unable to get to the phone) and on a number of occasions we have attended properties where urgent medical attention has been needed, without our alarm they would have needed someone to find them (which could have been hours or even days) before getting help.
There is nothing better than being thanked for providing our product by people who have been burgled or have had neighbours burgled, its an obvious sense of relief to get the security sorted
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked in the sales industry for many years (with various products) the purchase of an alarm is a product where customers feel an actual tangible benefit once they are installed. Its a great feeling knowing that your product is appreciated, although sometimes alarms are purchased after a bad event (such as a burglary) its a pleasant and relieving sense you get once they are installed.
Secondly i was constantly meeting people who had no help from the outside world or relatives to call upon if they needed help, our system allows instant contact with a real person 24 hours a day, no one should feel they cannot get help if they are ill or burgled or hear a bump in the night.
