If you are looking for a newborn or maternity photoshoot, look no further!! Chaunva LeCompte is hands down THE BEST photographer. She is listed in the Top 20 Best Photographers in DFW area and no doubt she is #1. I wish I had known about her earlier. I came to know about her through one of my friends after I had my third baby girl. So I have tried many others in the past and conclude that Chaunva is absolutely awesome. She has her own studio in Mansfield and you do not need to worry about buying/bringing any clothes, wraps, bows, accessories, stuffed animals, blankets etc. SHE HAS EVERYTHING. Her newborn outfits are sooo cute with matching hair accessories. They are not the common ones you can easily buy from Children’s Place etc, or online on Amazon. She has some really cool, unique and expensive items that you can pick and choose from. She has a wide selection of Maternity gowns, kid’s clothes, props, everything. It is so convenient, no need to stress at all when you are a new mommy or mommy-to-be. No shopping to do, no packing, no hassles. Chaunva has a range of choices in all colors. The end product is worth the money you spend. One excellent picture is better than 10 not-so-good pictures. Her pictures are like magazine quality. She made my baby look like a model. If you don’t believe me, just check out her portfolio on Facebook, they are absolutely breathtaking!! She is very friendly and so is her assistant Fatima. She is very good with babies, she takes her time yet is very efficient. Never made me feel rushed while taking pictures. I ran out of milk in the middle of the session and was about to go buy some, she had similac and Enfamil. She has diapers, wipes, pacifier, EVERYTHING. Although she mentions to bringy our own pacifier. She also does digital composite pictures. DEFINITELY recommend checking those out!! She is great at photoshop and pictures look AMAZING!! Do not forget to check out the Photo albums. I fell in love with them instantly when I saw them in the studio, I had no idea before going. So do check them out, they come in many sizes. This is a once in a lifetime memory with your precious newborn child, capture them with Chaunva. She is awesome, you will love her and the photographs. I highly recommend Chaunva and her absolutely amazing team! She fit my daughter in within the week for her 1 year old pictures. I changed my mind a couple of times for the style of the smash cake. She was very patient, kind, and very helpful! When she was finished taking pictures of the set I requested they quickly changed the scene and gave Sarell a new outfit to change into 3 times. We had the opportunity to have our maternity pictures taken with you! Chaunva is the sweetest! I don’t normally dress up and never have had my pictures taken professionally before, but she made the experience comfortable and both me and the father felt great about our session! We drove out from Mesquite and I’d do it again! Great experience here, especially all the dresses to choose from it’s a hard decision! We just did our newborn pics with Chaunva. She is such a professional! Our baby was not cooperating for his pics at all, but she was so patient with him. And after trying time and time again she got us the perfect shot. The whole experience was great. I had privacy to feed my baby and she gave us all the time we needed. Chaunva's studio also captured my child's birth at Mansfield Methodist hospital, and those turned out amazing. Makes me cry every time I watch the DVD. More...

Just left Baby view hd, they did such an amazing job on our sonogram. Everyone there was so sweet. Irene did a great job explaining everything during our sonogram for our little boy and Chaunva did an amazing job making sure I wasn’t nervous for my maternity shoot. Over all a great job! Chaunva LeCompte Photography is really the best! She is very kind, polite, and patient. My little angel did not participate fully on the last shot but Chaunva got it and truth be told it was one of the best ones! Her pictures are beautiful and she welcomes you with open arms. My mother and my daughter's father ate all the snacks their stomachs could hold and I even was able to pump while we waited for the shoot to be over with. I recommend her to anyone and everyone. She is also very personable, professional, and patient which I very much appreciated since my baby was a bit fussy the day of the shoot. These photos are AMAZING!! I searched around, calling and interviewing other photographers and Chaunva by far is the best. I took my newborn to get her portraits done and Chaunva was very professional and handled my baby with extra care. Her studio is super cute and I love how she provides a comfortable area to sit and wait while she does her magic. The pictures are crystal clear and you will melt once she shows you the slide show!!!
