It can be challenging to find a photographer that you feel gets you as a couple and that you feel will be able to capture your day that you would like. .From the very first chat with Charlie we felt instantly at ease, so friendly,warm and interested in you as a couple. Charlie instantly got what it was that we wanted from our wedding pics - a relaxed, casual look with plenty of everyone enjoying themselves and the day. At first I was reluctant to have too many "posey" couple shots - Charlie respected this but I'm so glad he encouraged us to have a few moments out of the day to have some as this is such a special day about the two of you and also after receiving our photos WOW am I glad we did!
Charlie makes everyone feel at ease and our guests loved him and found it hilarious that he suggested a few "selfies!" He knows how to get the best out of everyone and really captures the emotions.
When we got our pics back I couldn't believe there was only him on the day! He must have been running everywhere to capture as much as he did!
Charlie gave us a pre-wedding photo engagement shoot as part of our package and I would thoroughly recommend this as it gives you a chance to work together and feel more relaxed on the day-and get some gorgeous pics!
We are over the moon of our pics from the wedding day - the quality is fantastic and the online gallery is so easy for guests to look at and order from.

I can't put into words how amazing Charlie is. He becomes like one of the family on your special day, unobtrusive, thoughtful and simply delightful. We met Charlie in Chamonix in 2014 when he came and photographed our chalet for our website and were absolutely thrilled with the images. The warmth and enthusiasm he exudes is instant. Having spent the whole day with him and then keeping in contact over the next couple of years, when our son Alex announced his engagement, Charlie really was the only person we thought of contacting to capture the day.
What a day it was! Pouring rain for what should have been an outdoor service did not dampen spirits and there are some amazing shots in the rain with umbrellas.
Charlie really is one of the nicest people we've ever met. His enthusiasm for people and capturing natural images is incredible. He really has re produced Alex and Emma's day from beginning to end, capturing the smallest and biggest moments as well as the whole ambience. They are absolutely delighted with their photographs and in their words "it was the best wedding present we could have been given!".

Choosing Charlie for our wedding photography was such an easy decision. Seeing the story he tells through his photographs made him a perfect fit for the type of relaxed and intimate wedding day we were hoping for.

We met Charlie when searching for a wedding photographer who can ski. Charlie was invaluable from the start to the end of our wedding experience, he helped us so much with planning our wedding in France & we can't thank him enough. We did a pre-shoot in North Wales to meet up and discuss what we wanted from the wedding shoot and he was onboard right from stage one. Coming out to France, he mixed with all of our guests and many were disappointed that he left such was his amiable & relaxed style. Having Charlie at our wedding was like having another guest and this means that some of the shots that we had the privilege of seeing were of the real wedding rather than the posed for, contrived poses that we strived to avoid. Wow! Where do I start! Charlie captured our day so perfectly we are so happy with the photos they are absolutely amazing! I've had the pleasure of working with Charlie and his ability to capture a moment so naturally amazes me.

We were honoured when he agreed to be our wedding photographer. From the outset the service was highly professional discussing our ideas and requirements and giving advise which was greatly appreciated.

Charlie arranged with us a Pre-Shoot which allowed us to see examples of his work, the results were natural and incredible. Throughout the process Charlie was contactable and responded promptly to all questions.

On the day it's self Charlie conducted him self with absolute professionalism, interacting with guests making us all feel at ease. The after service was just as on point.

We met Charlie at a wedding fayre at our venue, Bury Court Barn, and immediately his energy and passion for what he does were infectious - that coupled with his examples of his work made him an easy choice, and boy were we glad we did!

We met Charlie at one of our family’s weddings the year before ours. We were so impressed by his enthusiasm and personality that we booked him before we even had a venue!

Having settled on Ireland as a location Charlie was on board from the start and was in constant contact from the beginning.

On the run up to the wedding we had a little taste of the work he was going to do with us when we went for a lovely evening at Frensham Ponds for a pre shoot. Having never had a professional photo shoot we had no idea of what to expect, Charlie was brilliant in making us feel welcome and was able to guide us on what to do and how to look.

Charlie really went the extra mile on the weekend of our wedding; he arrived the day before and could not contain his excitement at the location. He spent best part of a day taking shots and getting to know the local area, which proved vital on the day of the wedding.

The evening before our wedding Charlie again went the extra mile and was with us for dinner and came with us after to our favorite local pub. It was more like having a family friend with us than a photographer, he was engaging with everyone and only added to the atmosphere.

The day of the wedding was up in the air due to the classic Irish weather, we ended up going ahead and using the beach. Charlie had spent the morning with the Bride and Bridesmaids capturing in great detail every aspect of the preparation then came across to the windswept beach.

Throughout the day and into the evening Charlie didn’t only take the staged shots that we wanted, he captured intimate shots that most people would have missed.

We could carry on typing about Charlie for pages however the real proof is in the end result, the photos were beyond amazing.

Charlie constantly goes above and beyond what he needed to do and as a bonus is a just a brilliant guy!

He is more than just a photographer and we can’t recommend him enough! More...

We could not have asked for more from a photographer on our wedding day. He did not stop from the moment he got to us and every guest commented on how at ease they felt with him.
