Two of my children attend Cedar and they absolutely love it. Each week they come away bursting to tell me what they've been doing and keen to show off their new skills. I can see that it is building their confidence in themselves and helping their talents develop. My youngest child cannot wait until she can attend too. I really like that they get to experience all of dance, singing and acting equally and have been impressed by the teachers with their enthusiasm, teaching, kindness and feedback. I would highly recommend this school to anyone and everyone. More...

What inspired you to start your own business?
We started this school out of our own love for the performing arts, and our commitment to its development. Our belief is that people are always capable of more, and that the arts should be at the forefront of mankind’s capabilities. The industry is also notorious for being relentlessly competitive and discouraging to work in, which we find unnecessary and unhelpful to its development. By providing a safe, encouraging environment for young people to try, fail and grow in, our hope is that students would flourish and subsequently redefine boundaries. Our hope is that our ethos will be taken into the performing arts industry where it will eventually become standard practice.
Why should our clients choose you?
Cedar is an exciting and encouraging environment to be in, where every student is highly valued as an individual, and encouraged to flourish in their own creative identities. Our primary goal is to foster an environment of freedom in imagination, innovation, and artistry; where students are nurtured and grow in their passion for the performing arts. We provide a positive and encouraging environment, a healthy context for students to learn the values of persistence, and the discipline required to realise their full potential.
