I searched for a photographer by my work and luckily for me, the search led me to CeCe Canton. Â She was very responsive, fun to work with, and most importantly I love my photos. Â I was hoping to just come away with one nice looking, professional head shot for work and instead I walked away with 12 of them. Â I'm very pleased, as I now can change out LinkedIn a few times a year, provide different shots for various speaking engagements, and I have plenty of choices for either occasion. Â The whole process took about 3 hours, 2 for shooting and 1 for narrowing down the selections. I was looking for some really creative, dramatic head shots.CeCe created this amazing cool artistic vibe for our photo shoot yesterday (Feb. 19, 2013). She exceeded expectations! Not only did her photos come out great, but I know that is all thanks to the extra TLC she gave to all of the elements at the shoot: lighting, background colors, angles, wardrobe, props, and her color adjustments to the photos were spot on! She took her time and got everything just right.Unprovoked, CeCe even brought her own shirt to the shoot and it ended up being perfect! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Well there's no 1 secret but these are mine:
*being 100% focused on my client and their desired outcome.
*ability to anticipate a reaction, before it happens so I can capture it
*the right photo equipment and lots of lighting experience.
*and may sound silly but loving what I do
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What three words do you want your photos to say about you?
What do you love most about your job?
Showing people just how good they can look
and how easy and fun photography can be.
I hear people say "I hate having my picture taken,
I never take a good picture", and I always reply,
"That's because you've never had ME take your picture!" : )
What inspired you to start your own business?
I never really thought about it til this question but everyone in my family has their own business, from my Grandparents, Aunts Uncles and Cousins on both sides. Could I really let the family down and go to work for "The Man"?
Why should our clients choose you?
I love being a photographer! I smile the entire time. I make it fun for everyone. I'm very organized and very experienced. I turn everything around instantly or within 24 hours. I love NOW. I allow people to use and reproduce their images without additional compensation to me because I just want people to enjoy their images. You can print your own or I'm happy to do it for you.
