Carter PT will be training clients on a 1-2-1 basis at Grantham Meres Leisure Centre which is based in Grantham, Lincolnshire (See other page for details)
Carter PT will also be providing a home service using a variety of different training methods just like the client would use in a commercial gym or studio but from the comfort of their own home if the client wishes.
Jonathan will be able to start from the basics getting clients into Fitness who may not have much experience of how to get into shape or very little knowledge of how to use the equipment correctly at a commercial gym.
Passing a WABBA Qualifications (Level 2 & Level 3) Diploma in Personal training he will hopefully be able to answer any questions you might have as well as showing the correct training techniques to maximise your workout.
Focusing on different strategies for Bodybuilding, Circuit training, General fitness, Muscle toning, Endurance training, Strength training, Weight loss management aiming for high results with every client who wants to improve their life.
The training at home service has been created to help people who don’t have much time on their hands but still want to benefit by exercising regularly and live a healthy lifestyle.
I am currently taking part in more courses now and will be enrolling in more throughout the year to help my clients get the best results.
I believe that the learning never stops as a personal trainer, so i will keep this website updated with the new qualifications as and when i pass any current courses.

Bootcamps are great (the taste in music is not so great!) In to my 3rd week of 1-1's and really enjoying it. Jonathan is really knowledgeable about the apparatus and I am already seeing changes in my body shape!

After finishing work today having been aching all over I can sit down and reflect on my free pt session with Johnathan Carter that I had last night, after not exercising for 4 months and having zero motivation I was very nervous but at the same time excited to get back in to it. I'm so glad I did! Just had a PT session with Jon. Was a great session, showing me equipment I’ve never known how to use or why. Very knowledgable and gave me weights/exercises to do that were suited to what I want and need. Huge encouragement when I thought I couldn’t quite get through the reps and certainly made me work. Had a PT session with Jon. I would highly recommend him, he knows his stuff. I've been going to the gym for just over a year and seen some results. However I joined Jon's 31 day challenge and learned about nutrition...that nailed it for me. I lost 4 kg in that challenge. I carried on with the same principles I learned in the challenge and now have lost 16kg. Stronger fitter and healthier. As for the PT session...did exercises I haven't done before and learned a different way to do a squat that I get more from. Top bloke, full of enthusiasm for what he does. Great first session yesterday went threw everything I wanted to achieve showed me how to use all of the weights and machinery and sorted me out a plan of what I need to do. I now know what weight sets and reps that are right for me spoke about diet as I am a fussy eater and what would be best. Highly recommend anyone to sign up for a session. I've had sessions with Carter PT and been to his boot camps. His PT sessions are brilliant I didn't know what to expect with them, he works you hard but that's what you want from a PT session. Carter PT is very friendly and knowledgeable, he has helped me so much on my journey and always on the end of the phone if you need advice or help. His boot camps are very friendly and also a very good fitness class, you definitely know you've worked out for an hr. He also does a 31 day challenge which I've completed and have lost weight and cms around my body. I'm enjoyed doing the challenge as it was fun but also hard too. I definately would recommend Carter PT he will help you so much on your fitness journey. More...
