For the first time ever, I really understand how my body and my genes are wired to work with food that I consume every day. With so much contradictory nutritional advice out there, I originally came to Caroline to help me get my nutrition habits in check and reach a new personal fitness peak over an 8-week period in preparation for an 80-mile London to Brighton cycle. However, after Caroline showed me how to balance the foods that I eat based on my DNA results, I achieved much more than an easy cycle to Brighton, but a new way of life based around my own personal needs and lifestyle. I'm eternally grateful! More...

The targeted, personalised approach to health and well-being gave me real confidence that my individual needs were being considered, and I feel that the suggestions and information I received were specific to me and, therefore, so much more useful that trying to shoehorn my lifestyle, preferences, and needs around the latest trend or diet. It really helped me to understand how to make great choices for my health and allowed me to change small things to achieve impressive and lasting results. In the long term, these changes work really well and, rather than a fad that I might struggle to keep up as part of a balanced, normal life, the help she offered is something I continue to use to help keep me where I want to be--healthy and feeling good. Q&As

Very! The food we eat supplies the building blocks for our physical, emotional, and mental health. Our body can only work with the materials that it has. These materials create our cells from the inside out but are also used for neurotransmitters, hormones, and everything our body needs to function. Happiness literally comes from our food because, without the right ingredients, we cannot create the neurotransmitters required to feel good. How we feel physically--energetic or worn out, vital or unwell--is the result of the raw building blocks contained in what we eat. The right food creates health; the wrong food creates disease.

There's an incredible 'ah-ha!' moment that comes as I take someone through their genes, explain how their body works, and describe what diet will suit them best to bring health. Suddenly, so many things start to make sense for the person, and an incredible appreciation of just how unique they are shines through.

Genetic nutrition and fitness are brand new fields, and I wanted the opportunity to do nutrition in a much more advanced way than other nutritionists out there. This allows me to provide fantastic results and support to my clients in a way that is totally game-changing.

Two things are special about how I approach nutrition, health, and fitness. First, the results are 2-3 times better than traditional approaches because they are totally personalised, something backed up by research into DNA-tailored nutrition and fitness. My approach is also health-oriented: permanent results, not short-term fads. I love to say that it's time to start eating, not dieting! Second, I incorporate practical coaching into everything I do. It's not enough to know what to do; it also needs to be doable. The result is real transformation that comes from a pace and approach that feels totally natural and possible.
