Myself and my partner had an amazing afternoon. Ali greeted us with a big beautiful smile and we hit it off straight away as we found her calming and down to earth. Ali has tirelessly worked to ensure the animals that come to stay at the centre are well fed and have appropriate shelter. She has done this with help from friends and the community building fences and homes, often after carring out her other role as the best hair stylist around! It was wonderful to visit Carnmellyn yesterday, what a beautiful site and group of hardworking volunteers who have got this place to where it is now. Definitely a five star rating! This place has provided a safe and happy home to animals that for whatever reasons their owners could no longer keep and care for them. It is run by a compassionate person who aims to provide therapy for children with autism. The animals are friendly and well cared for, I have seen a vast improvement in a little pony who was very skinny and shy when she arrived. Ali has worked hard to care for the pony who is now well fed and not afraid of human contact. Keep up the good work and I am looking forward to seeing all the animals again soon. More...

Iv been to CarnMellyn farm Therapy centre a couple of times and always had the best time down there. What Ali has accomplished off her own back is truly incredible. Each visit the centre has grown bit by bit with all sorts of happy rescued animals, and is continuing to grow. I honestly recommend this to everyone who wants to meet some happy animals More...

We had a lovely morning. It was a brilliant experience for our little ones to get close to the animals. I saw so many smiling children and adults. amazing peaceful and friendly place. my eldest has severe autism and is largely non verbal .he enjoyed meeting a special horse today who loved having his neck tickled by matthew, and another called bramble, and the naughty pigs who were pushing and shoving each other. at bed time matthew said "horse, tickle, naughty piggies" and laughing his head off :-) thankyou for the special day. we look foward to spending more time with you guys in the future x More...

Such a lovely setting for a THERAPY CENTRE. Really awesome idea to rescue some animals rather than buy them. I'm sure these animals will love living the rest of their lives at Ali's place.
