From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. The waiting area is pretty. Staff extremely attentive, polite and generous with their time to help you find the right dish for you. Allowed us to order drinks, poppadoms, then order our starter and main course. Food is exceptional. Decor inside is beautiful. Ladies the toilets are fab. The ladies always tells me about a restaurant or pub. These are immaculate and decor is stunning. Look straight in front of you, as you exit the toilet. It's not to missed missed. What you ask? I dined at the Cardamom Black with a group of friends last weekend for the first time. The venue was beautiful, I was impressed with the refurbishment of this historical building to create what felt a special dining experience . The space was well organised so we were able to have a quality conversation without needing to talk above background noise. The food was great , certainly as close to authentic Asian cooking as I have ever experienced. The service was excellent , the manager was about and took a personal interest in making sure everything was just right for us . I will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone who wants a positive dining experience in a beautiful location. More...
