What do you love most about your job?
I love the dogs (of course), the active nature of my work, nature, travelling and the occasional chance to chat with my service users - that's all of it really! The changeable weather and seasons mean that two days are never the same, but it's hard to complain when you carry decent waterproofs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was always an animal lover, and was looking for a practical, hands-on job that allowed me to get around and spend time in nature. Becoming a Dog Walker allowed me to combine these passions whilst being my own boss and providing a service that is really valued by my clients. Most of my dogs are so enthusiastic about their walks that seeing them having great time makes my day week after week.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am an experienced dog walker ( 3 1/2 years), meaning that I understand dogs and have developed a range of working practices to ensure fun, safe walks. I come properly equipped to care for your dog (using a properly partitioned vehicle and providing all equipment - leads, dog wash kit and towels, treats etc.) and am prepared for eventualities - for example I am insured and trained in first aid for dogs.
Of course, I'm also a dog lover and enjoy seeing the dogs I walk enjoying themselves, so ensure they get what they want from their walks, whether it is a ball or a dip in a stream. Contact me and let me tell you what I can do for you and your dog/other pet!
