I was lucky enough to use Cambridge removals to move me from my former home and store all my possessions in their storage unit for over 8 months, so I had no hesitation in using them again to move into my current home. On moving day, just before Christmas, the weather was absolutely atrocious with torrential rain, but Mike, John and Tommy took it all in their stride. They were completely professional and uncomplaining, and just got on with the job. Despite being drenched, their priority was taking great care of my furniture and belongings, and putting everything into the correct rooms. They were warm and respectful to residents in the street who offered to move their cars to enable them get nearer to the house, which impressed me. Heather who runs the office has gone out of her way to be helpful and supportive on every occasion I’ve spoken to her over the last few months, she’s a real star. I can't praise Cambridge removals highly enough. From booking to moving day the whole process was professional, polite and efficient. Due to conveyancing issues I could not confirm until fairly close before moving day but nothing was too much trouble for them. Moving day was a breeze. The team turned up early, worked like Trojans and it was blatantly obvious they cared for my possessions as if they were their grandmothers. Unloading was so quick, other vans joined our team as they were either waiting or had completed their own jobs, at one stage we had 8 removal workers unloading. Again, unloading was with such care and consideration. Carpet protectors thoughout the house. Objects bought in, and when asked to put them in different rooms there was no grumbles or moans. I would recommend Cambridge Removals. They were so hard working and did such a good job! It was a long and hot day but the guys were all so polite and nothing was too much trouble. After a long day packing up an 8 bed house they then drove 5 hours in busy traffic towards London, to then spend 2 hours loading it all into storage. We cannot recommend this company enough as the team from start to finish were brilliant, polite, on time, communicated well, wore uniforms & looked smart and were very VERY helpful. You couldn’t ask for a better locally run company to move you on one of the most stressful days of your life. We looked at Cambridge Removals on a recommendation... What fantastic service we received! From the initial house-visit from Jason for the quote, to the removal day itself. Kelly and staff were great, really helpful, in what was a stressful run up to completion due to one reason or another. The team turned up 8.30 prompt, loaded up with tea, and had the van ready to go by 11.30... all into the new house by 4 - great! They were very helpful, very cheerful, and worked like trojans, getting our furniture up 3 flights of stairs, round tight corners, and setting it where we wanted, even fitting the feet to our new sofas which were still wrapped up.
