Dan is so encouraging and has given my daughter her love of music back. Uses lots of different methods and makes her lesson fun. Would highly recommend.

Vasilis has been teaching my partner and son to learn piano for a few months now and its been a really positive experience right from the start. Dan was great at setting everything up and his organisation is really professional and efficient. Vasilis is a great teacher, so encouraging and very flexible with our last minute changes! We started off with a keyboard but now with Dans guidance have bought a second hand upright piano. It so lovely to have the sound of the piano being played whenever anyone feels inspired. I would highly recommend Vasilis, Dan and cadenza music generally. More...

Vasilis started teaching my 6 year-old daughter. He is lovely and very patient with young kids. My daughter likes him a lot and it is always a real pleasure to welcome him at home!

Dan is teaching my 4 year old how to play piano. He's very engaging and can see when attention is being lost so he moves swiftly onto something else. My son loves to visit 'Dan the piano man', and he's learned so much in the short space of time with him. More...

Thanks to Ben for a great first ever piano lesson for my 8yo daughter. She has been excited to show me what she learnt and the books she has. She is looking forward to her next lesson and has been practising avidly. "Ben is REALLY nice" was the verdict! More...

Daniel gave a very well received lunchtime concert at Leatherhead on Aug 31st, titled From Bach to Jazz. He started by saying he sits somewhere between being a concert recitalist and a jazz pianist - but we were in no doubt that he can call himself a concert pianist. Several noted his lovely, quite sparing, pedal technique. We hope he'll come again. More...

Dan has been a brilliant teacher, helping me pick up piano again after not playing for 12 years. He covers a broad range of music perfectly suited to my level and style and is an incredibly knowledgable, talented, patient and fun teacher. Thanks to his teaching I've rekindled my love for piano and have many happy hours playing. Highly recommended! More...

I started the piano in January after years of 'when I've got time'. Dan is a brilliant tutor - knows exactly what's needed, is encouraging and able to get you to play better each time. I've had a number of tutors in the past (play the cello) and he is one of the best. I passed G2 jazz in the summer and take G3 soon. Am still amazed at being able coordinate the two hands (very different from the cello) and am really enjoying it. Lessons are online which works well - easier to fit into the day. More...

Started lessons in London and when I moved to York we switched to internet based lessons over webcam. It has been very successful and provided much more flexibility than we had before - we could have a lesson virtually wherever we are.
Dan's ability to hear the music I play and make suggestions means the quality of tuition is not comprimised. We share music online using the excellent new portal he has built.
I would certainly recommend this for anyone who wants piano tuition built around their schedule, which is also fun and based around their music tastes or learning requirements.

We have been very impressed with Cadenza music. Dan and Liam are both very good at inspiring a love of music and maintaining enthusiasm in pupils, even during the 'everything's so unfair' teenage years. Learning with Cadenza has given my son the opportunity to develop both classical and jazz piano and to expand his musical horizons. Highly recommended. More...

Dan's been teaching my (dyslexic) 11 year old the piano since he was 9 - which I'm sure has been a challenge for both of them! The lessons and homework are cleverly organised and tailor made to keep all aspects of learning to play both interesting and progressive (in our case catering for a short attention span and compromised processing skills). The Piano Showcase is a wonderful chance for his pupils to grow in confidence and feel proud of what they have achieved - whatever level.Thank you Dan! Dan has been providing me both piano and music theory/composition tuition for a couple of years now and I highly recommend him. I'm an adult trying to learn around a hectic schedule, but he's very patient and supportive even when progress slows during those busy periods. He's also able to effortlessly work with material he may not be familiar with, to help get you playing what you enjoy. Friendly. Professional. Great stuff! More...

Couldn't be happier. Both my daughter and I have lessons with Dan. We're both making good progress and enjoy the lessons, which culminate in a showcase each year. Very happy to recommend!

What do you love most about your job?
The sense of pride when a student achieves something . This could be performing for the first time, succeeding in an exam, learning a new skill they previously thought impossible etc. The individuality of each pupil also present a plentiful supply of variety. I always find myself kept on my toes and developing my own approach to keep up with the demand.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always wanted to start a venture of my own. My long term ambition is to give something back to the instrumental tuition community of which I have been a grateful beneficiary of for most of my life.
Why should our clients choose you?
