We had Buffett Heroes to cater for our Christmas Party on Saturday the 7th December.The food was delicious and care was given to anyone with allergens etc. A copy of food ingredients was left for all to see. The service was excellent and well carried out.The table planning looked very inviting and the food looked very appertising. What do you love most about your job?
Being a caterer means you are attending a party from a different perspective. We are looking on and not participating in. And it is the best feeling, being behind the scenes, seeing the guests having fun, laughing and enjoying the ambiance, the socialising and of course the food. It is such a great sense of achievement when people are coming up to you and telling you, your food is amazing, and the best thank you being of course from the host who is delighted with your service.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Do what you love and you never 'work' a day in your life. This was my inspiration to start my business in the USA in 1994. I loved doing food for people, I always had and decided it should be my job. I now have had the experience of 2 successful catering business' one in Florida USA, catering English style buffets and afternoon teas, also working at the same time as a wedding coordinator and ambience stylist for a large church. And now of course an American inspired buffet service in Manchester, UK.
