Christmas light display is so worth going to check out. You can go inside original historic homes that were moved into the park from their original location. They have an antique print shop where you can get a Christmas card with your name on it made for free - made from am antique printing press. They have cabins that are historic that they actually use to make gingerbread cookies and serve hot cider over an open fire by folks wearing period specific clothing. They have a huuggee historic museum on site that gives so mich history about the City of Dayton. I never knew so much came from Dayton. Prices to get in are really well worth the cost - I think we paid $11.00 per person for the whole Christmas light/museum/outside cabin experiences. They have a train ride outside for the kiddos as well. They also have an onsite cafe where you can order "sit down" type food and another smaller snack shop on the opposite end of the park where you can get beers, wines, popcorn, etc. If your in the area around the holiday season you have to check it out - its a must!!!! First time coming to the park and it was during the Christmas lights in the park!! Parents and kids had a great time on the train ride, delicious hot chocolate and popcorn! It was fun to go through the historical houses. Will definitely go back for a third time! More...

Quite fascinating place with a high variety of items. Its main focus is on Wright Brother's businesses, the company NCR, and Chase Kettering. I mostly enjoyed the trains in the building next to the clock tower. Awesome place and justifies the price of 12$. More...

Absolutely amazing place to eat The brewary restaurant has great food. The museum an all the pretty lights was so beautiful it was worth every penny. The parking lot needs to be lit up my 70yr old mother tripped over the curb an almost broke her nose. The emergency medical team were great. More...

Amazing Dayton history, delicious food, fun for a casual afternoon and also stimulating for your mind. Learned so much about the 1913 flood, the local inventors, and gives a new appreciation of the city of Dayton and its rich history. The tiny train kids can ride in the Summer and the Christmas activities in the Winter add even more to have fun with! I love how they keep adding more to Carillon Park. More...

If your in Dayton Ohio. This is a must stop location. The history shown here is fantastic. New exhibits are going up all the time. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and dressed in period costumes. I personally saw things and places I worked and played at 50 years ago. A new exhibit going up is Barn 17. This Barn was at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. I kept my horses in this barn. I can’t wait until they get it completed. I’ve lived in Illinois for 45 years. Dayton is a great place to live and work. Thanks to all that have saved history. More...

It's the most wonderful time of the year!!! Carillon Park is a beautiful family destination, especially around the holidays. A fabulous combination of glittering lights and Dayton history. The various historical buildings are chalk full of lessons and open in the evening during the holidays AND the weekend before Thanksgiving!!! Thank you SO MUCH to all the volunteers who greet you and share their fabulous wealth of information!!! A must see and too much to see in one day. We must return. If you can come prior to the Christmas lights to take in some of the history. There is something for everyone. JOY More...

I had no idea there was so much stuff to see in this park. I don't know how I hadn't heard about how cool it was. There is a ton of stuff showing Dayton inventions and Dayton pride but tons of historical stuff. Plus slides and great kids areas.

Carillon Park is always a classy place to visit, no matter the time of year or event. My husband and I are proud Dayton History members. I’ve been to the Concours D’Elegance several years in a row, Carillon Christmas every year since it started, and many times a year just for a visit, a beer at the brewery, and to enjoy every little fantastic piece of history. It never gets old. I live in Dayton, but my parents are from out of town and I bring them every year. My dad especially loves the Concours - we can’t get enough! Thank you, Dayton History, for bringing such a beautiful museum space to Dayton - the world needs more places like this. I can’t wait to see what you build and add to the collection in the future!
