I’m Chris, the adventurer behind Brighton Dog Adventures. I’ve been adventuring across Brighton and Hove with my Border Terrier Cleo and my clients’ dogs for around nine years.
As the name indicates, our dogs experience adventures all around Brighton and Hove in all weather conditions making the most of the unique venues from the coast to woodland, from the Downs to fantastic local parks.

My Jack Russell – Nellie has been going on adventures with Chris for nearly a month now. I chose Brighton Dog Adventures because I could see from the pictures and movies uploaded that Chris did more than just walk the dogs, he actually really engaged, ran and played with them.
Nellie returns happy, contented and well exercised. I can tell she’s happy and so am I.
If you’re looking for more than a dog Walker, I can recommend Chris and Brighton Dog Adventures without reservation.

I am so thrilled Rocco got a place with Brian, no wonder there is a waiting list. Brian is amazing, the relationship he has with the dogs is unlike anything I have seen before. Archie gets so excited when he sees Brian- and always returns with a big smile (and a long sleep!) that I know he's had a great time. Brain is really helping Archie develop his 'pack' mentality- his recall has improved immensely. Brain is also very flexible with pick up and drop off times, meaning that Archie gets the most from his adventures. More...

Rocky goes on adventures with Brian twice a week and loves every second of it. Brian is a dog whisperer and Rocky is so excited when he comes to the door! Usually he is out for at least 2-3 hours even though I had only paid for a hours walk and sleeps for the rest of the day. Adventures with Brian have given rocky socialisation with other dogs and his recall is getting so much better thanks to Brian's long lead training. I can't recommend Brighton Dog Adventures enough!!! ( Brian even fixed our front door when it was broken - he is amazing!) I feel so much better going to work knowing Rocky will be on adventures in the country, matched to dogs he will play with and in very capable hands ! More...

We have just moved down from London and soooooo lucky to have Brian in our lives. Rexie is with Brian five days a week for adventures gets picked up from me in Hove and goes back to is other new mummy Julie in Kemp Town - thank you Brian for being so flexible. Rexie has changed so much, he is much happier and more contented, much calmer with people and other dogs and just loves Brian. The adventures for Rexie are so much fun and know he looks forward to it everyday - cant wait for me to go to work and Brian to arrive to play with his doggy friends. Brian has been an absolute star! Lulu had some pretty serious issues with other dogs when Brian took her on, but his adventures, care and professionalism have turned her into a pup who is so much calmer and happier with dogs. I wouldn't be able to work if it wasn't for the skills of this amazing man!
Maurice (a very lively and fussy Boston Terrier with enough energy to wear out a cheetah!
) loves going off on doggy adventures and wow do they go on adventures!! Maurice has been to more places around Brighton than me- vineyards, forests, wild pony trails, you name somewhere with grass and open spaces and he has been there on adventures!
Brian has an amazing way with all his charges - you can see it in the videos he regularly posts ( which means I get to see my boy playing) - they run to him almost with smiles.
He picks the groups carefully and took my other half on an assessment walk wth Maurice before deciding which dogs he would interact with best. And he is having a blast!
I leave for work happy and confident that Maurice is going to be well looked . The only issue? I think Maurice prefers Brian to me!
Thanks Brian- you've made my life so much easier and stress free

The best thing you can do for your dog!

Brian has been taking our Husky/Collie cross on almost daily adventures for many months now. We have seen a marked improvement in our pet's recall and his fitness levels and muscle tone have visibly improved. What do you love most about your job?
The experience Brighton Dog Adventures offers is a dog social club. We always travel to the South Downs so dogs can have plenty of space to exercise and express their natural behaviour in a social way with other dogs. I am also a behaviourist and work with dog owners to help them with general issues that come up from time to time. We don't walk dogs, we take them on adventures.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love all animals and very experienced with wilderness. I'm an expert dog and horse handler and find the connection between animal and human one of the most liberating feelings in life.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm personable, reliable, affordable and most of all patient and great with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I'm much more than a dog walker, I am a behaviourist that will always help out keeping dogs good.
