Gosh, I'm two years behind on my review writing but better late than never? Brandon photographed our Summer wedding in Seattle back in 2014. He was always professional and caring from start to finish. In our pre-planning meeting he listened to what we had envisioned and captured the best moments possible on our day. We wanted a mix of backgrounds, styles, and locations for couple pictures. With that information he took us to the best possible places to really showcase what we wanted. The best photos from that night came from our reception: raw emotions on film. We danced and had a blast- every moment is on film. We had quiet moments in a crowded room- they're captured on film. Details that you would forget about are all captured. Brandon, you're a stand up guy with an incredible eye. My guests loved your photos and still comment on how wonderfully the day was shot. Having Brandon photograph our wedding was by far the best decision we made for the day. Brandon is smart, sharp and has a very mellow demeanor which is refreshing to have around on a day where energies run high. He soon disappears into the crowd and frankly I forgot he was around once things really got going - which adds even further to my surprise at all the little moments he managed to capture. Brandon's gift is the ability to beautifully photograph the intimate nuances of the day - the true personal interactions and emotions that now truly allow me to relive the day until the end of time. To me, that is priceless - and his talent is rare. The posing photos are of course a must and ours turned out absolutely stunning. I couldn't be happier with the whole lot of photos. When looking for a photographer, the most important thing to me was to find a photographer who truly captured the emotion of joy, laughter, and love. That is exactly what we got from Brandon's beautiful pictures! Brandon is such a genuine person who absolutely adores his job! Brandon, you are truly the best! We love your work. What a privilege it is to work with Brandon. He takes his work extremely seriously and goes the extra mile to make you feel special and comfortable in front of the camera. Aside from his professionalism and calming nature, Brandon's journalistic perspective is unique to his own. Wedding photographers often feel compelled to shoot those cliche, "I saw this on Pinterest" moments -- not Brandon. His focus was to document the day as we hoped to remember it, full of candid laughs, raw emotion, dance moves...the real details. Let me start by saying planning a wedding was probably one of the most stressful experiences of my life! That said it was also one of the most amazing, magical and life changing experiences of my life and hiring Brandon was a no brainer. Looking at his work you can plainly see that he is extremely talented and has a wonderful eye for capturing honest and sincere moments. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Brandon on two separate occasions (engagement session and wedding day) and each time he was professional and always a pleasure. He made the experience very special for my husband and I and you can tell in our pictures. I had the opportunity to witness Brandon's work on location at a friend’s wedding. He managed to seamlessly create private moments on film in the most crowded spaces. He was quick on his feet, sure about the shot he is trying to capture or create and succinct at directing slight modification to get the shots looking their best.He listened to what the couple, as well as guests wanted in some of their photos and helped them build on it for a better image. Nothing about his shots looked stiffed or rehearsed, they put you squarely (happily and beautifully) back in the moment and that is EXACTLY what you want in a photographer. I would feel confident in recommending him to anyone (I liked) because I know they would not only get beautiful pictures but also special moments they will be glad were truly captured forever. I could go on for an hour, but I'll try to respect your time. Hiring Brandon Patoc as our wedding photographer, was one of the best decisions we made throughout the year of planning. We stumbled upon his name in a Bridal magazine listed as one of Seattle's top photographers, and immediately fell in love with his style. Not only were we stunned by the photos he captured--moments we didn't even know existed on our wedding day--but he was fantastic to work with. He answered emails, phone calls (even texts) within the hour, and consistently worked around our schedule, met with our wedding planner (and us!) and surprised us with a delivery of champagne on Valentines Day. He went so far beyond his required duties as our photographer. As for his photos: There isn't anything we treasure more. We look back on them at least once a week (I know, I know), and each time we're more and more pleased with his work, noticing new details and emotion. He was able to be everywhere at once it seemed. Running around in the least invasive way, capturing genuine moment after genuine moment. What sets Brandon apart from many other photographers we looked at, is the fact that he is a trained photo-journalist. He looks to tell a story--your story---through his photographs, which is precisely what we were hoping for, and exactly what we received. Finally, he cares about his clients, even after the event is said and done. Our wedding was in November, and he rushed prints to us (on CHRISTMAS EVE) to ensure we had the last-minute gifts (framed photos) we were hoping for. I have to say that I love pictures and so do my family and friends.  Because we all love pictures so much, our expectations of good photos are extremely high.  Brandon Patoc Photography without a doubt hit photographic home runs throughout our destination wedding week in Cabo.  I am grateful that he poured hours into making our pictures look amazing.  Our wedding day went by so fast and when I got the proofs, I felt transported back to our special day.  Brandon's attention to detail seemed to catch every emotion perfectly and each image had a story.   I know people say a picture says a thousand words, but Brandon's photos captured a million.  He is an exceptional photographer and i would not hesitate to book him again. My wife and I hired Brandon for our wedding photographer on the suggestion of a mutual friend, and I feel like I should be taking that friend out for dinner on a weekly basis to thank her for the suggestion. I know my fair share of wedding photographers back home (Kansas City) and wasn't really looking forward to the notion of flying someone out for our wedding, so I was glad to find someone local whose book looked solid and who was, more importantly, easy/quick to communicate with. We both immediately felt comfortable with Brandon; a lot of times, wedding-related folks (caterers, photographers, dj's, etc) never let you forget how busy they are, but Brandon made a point to make us feel like we were the center of his universe for our wedding day.On our wedding day, Brandon put in one of the most solid days of work I've ever seen anyone put in. He stayed patient as we corralled a pretty large wedding party full of edgy parents and crying kids, handled my wife's particular nature with incredible grace, and did so with a smile as he took our pre-wedding shots. During the ceremony, I didn't notice him once, but (after looking at the shots we got back) I'm amazed I didn't. He didn't miss an angle and documented the ceremony perfectly, catching the glow everyone had on their faces so beautifully.For the reception, Brandon was in the thick of everyone, and it seemed like I couldn't move 4 steps without seeing him taking pictures of my wife and I or our families and friends (this is a good thing). He was seemingly everywhere at once, and managed to capture the intimate, genuine hugs and conversations with grace while still managing to capture the frantic, jubilant energy of the goofballs on the dance floor. He also managed to document all of the intricate details (place settings, food, decorations) that so much time is spent thinking about and executing while often being overlooked for big picture details.Your wedding day is one of the days you absolutely want to feel like a rock star, and Brandon's photography definitely made my wife and I feel larger than life. I can't express how impressed I am with Brandon's professionalism, his vision, and his ability to capture different moments and different styles. I've got no plans on getting married again (knock on wood!), but I can happily and whole-heartedly recommend Brandon's services for anyone who is tying the knot or documenting an event. More...

I don't even know where to start with my feelings on Brandon's work - I was SO afraid of getting wedding pictures taken. I'm not very photogenic and hated the idea of fake smiling for hours. Brandon put all my nerves to rest with his laid back personality. Don't get me wrong, he's all business but yet so casual, it's really refreshing especially when you have a million things going on when planning a wedding. All of our friends joked about how Brandon was a ninja at our wedding, he was everywhere all at once. Everywhere you turned, there he was capturing a picture of something. He's definitely not one to just stand by and wait for perfect moments, he creates them. We did the obligatory family pictures and he used his sense of humor to get everyone in my big family on the same page. It doesn't hurt that his pictures were featured in Seattle's Bride Magazine.
