John was an amazing tour guide and gave my husband and myself and my 94 year old dad two days of wonderful touring. He understood our limitations with my dad, but still have us magical walks for my husband and I, and good conversation with my dad. He took fabulous pictures of us, and took us to out-of-the-way places that we will always remember. John, your pictures are stunning, and we had such a wonderful time. We recently had the opportunity to experience the beauty, culture and history of Wales with our 8 day tour customized with John. It truly was the trip of a life time. We had some unusual requests.....a cooking class of Welsh foods, a Welsh Mens Choir concert, visiting the towns of our heritage, seeing red kites, the National Welsh library, having dinner with a Welsh relative, and many many more . Our sleeping arrangements were 5 star and our dining experiences were fabulous. John realized we had some physical limitations and took that into consideration . My husband and I spent an unforgettable day yesterday with John Hadwin touring 7 castles in North Wales. It has been a dream of mine to visit Llywelyn’s castles and John made sure my dream came true. He can explain Welsh history in an entertaining yet thorough manner and knows the geography of the area so completely that he managed to avoid a traffic backup so quick that we saved so much time. Great day tour through Anglesey! Highlight of the tour was the hike in Holyhead where we saw a group of seals from the cliffs as we walked to the South Stack Lighthouse.

If you want to visit Wales especially North Wales, John and Jacqui Hadwin of Boutique Tours of North Wales and Alice Court Guest House are the ones we highly recommend! !! They made our trip memorable and very comfortable. John took us to "secret places" that we would have never seen because he grew up in the area and is passionate to share his incredible Welsh knowledge. John made our itinerary based on what we wanted to see in Wales and then expanded on it tenfold for the "WOW" factor or "you haven't seen nothin yet" The pictures that I've shared to all our friends on FB is due to John and the amazing places he has shared with us. Jacqui, the Matriarch of the "Guest House" was so welcoming and took care of all our needs. Her speciality was our delicious individual made to order breakfast and Welsh cakes!!! We had such a wonderful day with John being shown the beautiful Snowdonia/North Wales. John is full of knowledge and took us through some wonderful little towns and the views on the drives were incredible. It was our first visit to North Wales and we wanted to visit places that were hard to access via public transport. John came to pick us up on time from Llandudno. His knowledge about the history of Welsh people, the language, the country and legends is immense. During the tour, we learnt a great deal from him and we visited attractions from exclusive locations that were known only to locals. John put together a fantastic 2 day tour for my wife, daughter & I. My wife's grandparents were from the small town of Ruthin in Northern Wales and he did the ground work to research the family, found there home and was 1st class! His Mercedes coach is an extremely comfortable vehicle and a delight to tour the windy mountain roads in. He knows every nook and cranny of this area of Wales and will take you to some of the most wonderful places.......how about a lovely vineyard in N Wales? Visting North Wales with Boutique Tours was a highlight of our trip to Great Britain. John Hadwin was the perfect tour guide. He planned a spectacular day and a half of sightseeing for our family, and he took us to gorgeous rural spots that we'd never be able to find on our own. John also took our personal requests for country walks and a steam rail ride into account, and worked them seamlessly into our day. Other highlights of the tour included the best view of the dramatic Snowdonia National Park area, the castles, ancient churches, literally hundreds of lambs, waterfalls and picturesque towns. We all fell in love with this special place. And we can't forget to mention the food: John directed us to the best places for all kinds of Welsh treats. We hope to come back someday!
