I would whole-heartedly recommend Jan for anyone looking for nutrition advice in London. Her in-depth knowledge of nutrition and the science behind how our bodies work and process what we put into our mouths is amazing. I really value her holistic approach and am always amazed by her ability to pick-up on seemingly unrelated issues and tie them in to the cause. Jan’s in-depth nutritional knowledge and easy-to-follow advice has really helped me over the years. From shrinking some fibroids in my reproductive area to helping me to manage my stress levels, i really value the holistic approach that Jan takes that mean the results impact your overall wellbeing. I have been struggling with my energy levels for some time now and a friend recommended that I have a consultation with Jan at Boundless Energy Nutrition as she had been very impressed with the advice and treatment she had been given. Jan was very friendly and welcoming and put me at ease straight away. I had an in-depth consultation and was given an eating plan and advice about vitamin supplements and exercise. I turned to Jan having been diagnosed with arthritis in my right foot. Four months later, with virtually no pain and significantly less swelling I am back running again. Jan not only reversed my condition, but completely altered my outlook towards nutrition and I feel so much better for it. Jan’s advice has been invaluable. Jan has so much nutritional knowledge. When my daughter was around 2 or 3 years of age she had symptoms of a dairy intolerance. No health professionals were recognising the symptoms. Jan advised me immediately and within 4-6 weeks my daughters symptoms cleared. Essential. Every cell, organ and system in your body is made out of the nutrients that you eat from food. Yet, there are foods that heal and foods that harm. We are all different in how we respond to the same foods. One person's fuel could be another person's poison. So, understanding how your body responds to food is also key.

Helping people recover their health and showing them that can take charge of their own health and live with energy and vitality no matter what their age. Living healthily to old age should be the norm and not the exception.

As a child I learned that food can cause pain, suffering and ill health. I discovered I had food intolerances that manifested as arthritic pains in my knee and elbow joints. This ultimately led to me studying nutrition whereby I learned that food can also be your medicine. I have no doubt that had I not discovered my food intolerances that I would be crippled by arthritis now.

Yes, I am mostly online now since the pandemic. I still have use of a therapy room at Samsara Mind & Body in Wandsworth for those who wish to see me in person. However, most people now choose the online option. Consultations are conducted over Zoom conferencing.

I'm now almost fully online. Samsara Mind & Body, which hosts my therapy rooms, have implemented their own covid measures.

Services

Re-analysis of standard GP blood tests from the functional medicine perspective (reducing the reference ranges). This provides information on potential nutritional and biochemical imbalances that are contributing to your health concern. Used alongside a health questionnaire, a food and supplement plan can then be devised that is personalised to you. Support is provided for one month following the consultation.

This provides the foundational aspects of my programmes, whereby the basic foundations of a healthy diet that works for you are created. It's all about re-balancing, strengthening and energising. The key areas covered are:

(1) FOCUS -Digestion, absorption, blood sugar balance
(2) NUTRIENTS - hydration, proteins, carbohydrates, fats
(3) LIFESTYLE - body clock, sleep, chemical toxins
(4) ELIMINATION - gentle cleansing gut, kidneys, liver
(5) AD-HOC - movement, stress, mindset.

For many people, the foundational programme is sufficient. For those, with more chronic or complex conditions, the 6 month standard programme would be more suitable.

This is my standard programme for more chronic or complex conditions. It can take several months to address such conditions, with manageable changes being introduced each month and built upon, whilst being supported throughout the whole process. The first 3 months comprises the foundational programme, with the latter 3 months focusing on cleansing with greater emphasis on detoxification, repair and renewal. Key aspects of this programme: Months 1-3 : as per REFRESH. Months 4-6:

(1) FOCUS - anti-inflammatory, detoxfication, repair & renewal
(2) NUTRIENTS - phytonutrients, fibre, specific nutrients
