What makes a great website?

A great website is one that makes it easy for the user to do both what they want to do and what you want them to do. For example, if you're running an information based website, it should be easy for users to find what they're looking for, and you should direct them to other sources where they can discover further information. If you have a website for generating leads, you should make it obvious how you want users to send their details, and make it easy for them to do so. For an e-commerce website, users should be able to get all the information they need about a product, and to be able to go through the whole buying process hassle-free.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

Too many to list here! The key thing we want to know is what are you looking for as a client from your campaign, and what would success look like? To get a better understanding of what is needed we then talk about how you're currently found online vs how you'd like to be found, who your ideal customer is and if you have any existing customer profiles, and a background of your business history and the industry in general, including competitor activity. We'd also love to know about any previous SEO or other digital marketing work, and how those campaigns performed.

What do you love most about your job?

Definitely the variety. No two businesses are the same, and it follows that no two digital marketing campaigns are the same. What works for one business doesn't necessarily work for another, and it's this variety that keeps digital marketing fresh and exciting.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Our agency was initially inspired both by a lack of focus on holistic digital marketing across the industry as well as by what was a huge proportion of the industry being dominated by businesses pursuing dangerous and unethical marketing practices. As the industry has evolved in the last decade we're proud to have been part of the changing perception of the digital marketing industry and specifically SEO.

All of our team members work remotely yet collaboratively, meaning our clients' fees are spent purely on the work that needs to be done.
