During the summer you can buy ice creams and snacks from the Kiosk at Bossom's which is just what you need on a hot summer's afternoon as you sit dabbling your feet into the river. I dare say you can also buy things more useful for boats there but I've never had the need to, unfortunately (I'd love to have a boat). I think you can hire boats from here as well - definitely rowing boats and perhaps punts. (I know the Oxford River Cruise people were intending to start renting out punts but I don't know, given the awful rain of last summer whether they actually put their plan into action). More...
