Bolt Electric

These guys are on point. I need to run some tools that pull high amps in my garage but my new house only came with 1 outlet. First let's start at the end: Bolt's craftsmanship was pretty damn good. His work looked 10 x's better than anything I've seen in this 2018 home. This guy made the home builder look flat out incompetent. The finished product was clean and classy. He even labeled the new breakers for me inside the breaker box. So back to the beginning; the electrician and I talked about what I was trying to achieve, and he gave me a few options and dropped his recommendation on what would be the safest, easiest and most functional for my request. I took his recommendation, he was in an out in less than an hour.  The price. Well you get what you pay for right?!?. I needed someone to rewrite my home's breaker box. I'm not trying to get killed or burn the place down. The electrician explained what he's doing and why he's doing it. I'm sure I could have saved $10 or $20 bucks, but why? Bolt electric is my "go-to" electrical contractor for all my electrical needs. Today David installed a new 220 volt service for our new Bosch combination speed oven/microwave that replaced an aging 110 volt service microwave. This is the third electrical job for Bolt technicians and I'm so very impressed with the continuity of their service. All three technicians (Daryl, Robert & David) demonstrated the same professional skills.....on time, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and polite. My only question for Bolt management is "where do you find these guys?" It just doesn't get any better that this! Very pleased with Bolt Electric. We were able to get an appointment very quickly. What's more than that is that they were not only on time, but were able to squeeze me in earlier. Robert listened to my problem and was able to analyze the problem and get it fixed quickly. They did not qouge us on the parts and did not sell us service that we didn't need. Ronnie is deserving of my confidence on many things.  I needed to have my main panel replaced with all of the connections and breakers, as well as the ground connection fixed and tested.  The estimate was not the lowest, but  NO ONE ELSE provided as much of a description of the work to be done.  He also appeared confident in the estimate throughout the process.  I was not sold anything, I felt comfortable with the whole service, I've recommended them to friends and family.  I anticipate smaller electrical  improvements soon, I will expand this review to cover more types of electrical work. This place has their act together and know the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE!   They are efficient, friendly, and did work for me at what is not a super cheap rate, but you get what you pay for, and they took care of business for me.  I had a question about the invoice, and they handled that quickly and with professionalism as well.  They are the ones I will do business with again in the future in San Antonio for my rental property! Bolt Electric is an amazing company. I was hesitant to call them, because who wants to call electricians, but I was really surprised about how things went. The lady on the phone was super nice and helped me get an appointment within a short period of time, much sooner than I was expecting The gentlemen from the company came out to the house and was right on time. He helped install a fan in our kitchen and he did a wonderful just. He also was very friendly and took the time to give me advice about a number of other things that I wanted to know regarding electrician work around my house. If that wasn't enough we got a hand written letter a few days later thanking us for using their company, serious who does that these days. Believe the reviews these guys are wonderful. This company is the only electrical company I will ever use and refer to others. Wendy made the process so easy from getting the quote to scheduling the services. Ronnie is always on time, friendly and honest. I am so happy to know I have an electrician that is honest and great at his job. I was really nervous to find a decent electrician - I thought I'd either get some yokel who couldn't figure out the problem or a total shyster who charged $600 the second he walked in the door. I found Bolt Electric here on Yelp, so I crossed my fingers and gave them a try. They responded quickly, fixed my weird outlet issue, and were reasonably priced. Bolt did a great job tracking down the gremlin and getting it fixed quickly and  fairly priced.   Professional, great customer service, and showed up on time.   Only negative is that I had asked him to quote another job while he was here, but I never heard back from him.   No big deal - they still get a 5 star review - it was me thinking I needed more outlets in the garage that made me remember to write this review!  I would recommend Bolt to all my friends and family!!!     D. When I had problems with several outlets in my home, I called Bolt Electric. The people on the phones were very friendly and informative and helped me schedule an appointment. The day of the appointment, the electrician was running a little late, but he gave me ample notice and asked about my problem before coming over to ensure he had the proper supplies. When he got to my home, he identified the problem immediately and fixed it in less than 15 minutes and explained what he was doing throughout the process. Darryl came out and troubleshot a stubborn electrical issue.    The journey took him through the attic a couple of times, outside the house, and through several rooms checking electrical connections.  He didn't give up,  and eventually found the problem.  He fixed it and corrected a few other minor issues he uncovered.  Very pleased with his professionalism and know-how.  I'll certainly use Bolt Electric again.   In fact we're going to have him come back to install some recessed lighting fixtures in the near future. This company is far superior to anyone else we spoke with. They work quickly, either by email, phone or in person. Their prices are fair, they don't use high pressure sales like the other companies, don't use fear to intimated you and force you into repairs you don't need and are fair and professional. I had bought a renovated 1979 house that had some electrical citations on the inspection I needed fixed.  I e-mailed the inspection report to five electricians I found here on yelp asking for an estimate on the work listed in it.  Ronnie was the only one to call me back, talk through the actual implications of what the inspector cited, and then reply with a formal written estimate.  Others shot back a quick e-mail rattling off some numbers (a few slightly cheaper), but Ronnie was a professional in how he handled the bid so I felt confident the workmanship would be good.He explained he could make an afternoon appointment to do part of the work and would come a second day to handle attic work so it wouldn't be so hot up there.  As he tackled the tasks on the report, he explained everything, showed me the finished product, and answered some additional questions I had outside of the inspection results.  When it came time for the follow-up appointment on a Saturday morning, he was fifteen minutes early and ready to go, and threw in a ceiling fan adjustment I had asked about as a complementary service.  He's personable, knowledgeable and thorough.  I appreciate his workmanship and will call again if I need further work.  Thanks Ronnie.
