Last minute booking easily arranged on-line for some urgent attention to a very painful tight shoulder and neck and upper arm. Ashleigh was very professional and friendly so felt at ease. Quickly went through the questions to establish the problem. I booked in for a deep tissue sports massage and got exactly what I hope for. Don't be fooled by the slim athletic frame and I mean this in the most positive way a deep tissue massage it was. I visit Bodyworks whenever I’m in Edinburgh as I’ve always had great treatments from the therapists. I’ve had a range of treatments including pregnancy and then post-natal massage, deep tissue, remedial and Indian head massage. They have all been wonderful with just the right balance of physio work and relaxing massage. Today Jade gave me my first Indian head massage and it was just what I needed! First time receiving any kind of massage. This was a sports massage recommended to me by a PT. I met with Adel who talked through my problem areas and explained what would happen and what to expect during the massage. During the time she was polite, friendly and calming and was always ensuring the massage wasn’t overly painful whilst still being effective. Received a deep tissue massage with Coral this morning and it was absolutely amazing. Coral was thoughtful and in depth in the pre-massage assessment, and then was perfect in her execution of the massage. She applied just the right amount of pressure, and hit all the right spots that needed attention. On top of that, she was an absolute joy to converse with. Ioana is amazing. She had obviously read my notes from previous visits and started working on my arm. I had been having really bad pain in my arm and shoulder as well as virtually constant headaches. I am not better yet but there is an improvement but I still have a way to go.

Exceptional service and treatment from Aranzazu.
After 5+ years of problems with my neck/shoulder she was able to diagnose the issue, provide treatment and suggest an exercise program to remove the tension and strengthen the muscles to help reduce future occurrences. I would highly recommend a consultation.

I had a very good experience here after developing pain in my lower back. The online booking system allowed me to confirm an appointment the next morning with Ms. Aranzazu Penaranda Lopez. The treatment space was warm and clean, and Ms. Lopez spent a few minutes talking with me to determine why I came and what a sports massage entailed (not to be confused with a relaxation massage!). After she listened to me, Ms. Lopez got started right away with the treatment and within a few minutes confirmed I had a deep cramp in my muscle. I was very pleased how knowledgeable she was and experienced in finding the root cause of my discomfort and working the cramp out.. Luckily, I didn't require follow on treatment but Ms. Lopez suggested three stretches to help prevent a reoccurred. I was very happy for the treatment and the value for money was very good. I work in a local theatre and have recently booked appointments for 3 separate cast member, all 3 have come back raving about the therapists and the treatment they’ve received. The online booking system is so convenient and easy to use. I would like it to be easier to get hold of someone on the phone as I have been paying for their treatments with a company credit card. However all appointments were between Christmas and New Year so I absolutely appreciate they may have been running on a skeleton staff! Highly recommend! It was the first time I had been for a sports massage so didnt really know what to expect but from the moment I walked in I was made to feel welcome.
Carles explained exactly what I could expect both during and after my treatment which made me feel very at ease.

Yesterday I had the best physiotherapy session in my life with Raul. By listening to me describe my symptoms he immediately diagnosed the root of my recurring tension headaches and helped me feel better. His understanding of anatomy and skillful observation of muscle imbalances is remarkable. I've had many costly therapies in NYC and none were able to help so much in just one session. He also carefully explained how to monitor my symptoms and suggested stretches that will help me relax and manage headaches in future. I've mainly had aromatherapy with Jade and I highly recommend her as a therapist. She is kind, attentive, approachable and instantly set me at ease on my first appt. Very skilled, her knowledge of aromatherapy is great and she works closely with the client to get the right blend. Her massage technique is awesome - deeply relaxing and great with knotty areas of tension! I've also had deep tissue massage with Matt and again, I would rate him as excellent - knowledgeable, skilled and passionate about his work.
