Personal Trainers

Just about to get started . Very prompt professional approach

14 November 2017

I have been training with Rachel for a year and she is a fantastic personal trainer. She has helped me in so many more ways than just achieving my goals. I am more confident, healthier and fitter thanks to the support she has provided me.

Rachel understands the importance of mental wellbeing as much as physical, and helps you realise your full potential through developing and supporting both of these aspects of health.

She helps me to stay focused on my goals and celebrate the wins, while refocusing me and giving me the push I need when motivation is found lacking.

A fantastic personal trainer to help you reach sort term and long term goals to improve your health and wellbeing.

Rachel has worked with me for nearly a year now. She has improved my fitness and my well being with her gentle and supportive manner. Having a lifelong history of difficulties with food she has helped me to understand the difference between food and nutrition. I have also come to better understand myself and am still learning how to live with myself without using food as an emotional crutch. I am now stronger, physically and emotionally and my only regret is that I didn't find this help and support many years ago. That said, I will face the future healthier in all ways. Having a personal trainer and coach is not a chore but a treat and she is teaching me that I deserve it. Thank you. More...

Rachel has been helping me change how I eat and change years of mindset on overtraining, she is good at listening and explaining. The sessions are always fun although not always enjoyed if you know what I mean as she challenges you. More...

Rachel responded so quickly to my ad and I'm really enjoying working with her. My request explained what I wanted, and I think that helped her to realise that we were a good fit. She's very tuned into me and so knowledgeable without being pushy or a know all. She makes every session different, I've never had a personal trainer before and I can see the benefits and value. Personal Trainers

I have been with Rachel for just over a month now and she's fantastic. Incredibly supportive and encouraging, while understanding too, but provides that push when it's needed to. She's easy to talk to and share with and creates a tailored programme to suit, taking things slowly and helping make lifestyle changes at a manageable rate. She really puts in the extra effort to help you reach your goal and visibly cares about you reaching it, a fantastic personal trainer and nutritionist and would highly recommend. More...

Rachel listened to exactly what I wanted to with the personal training sessions and planned things around that to allow me to have a strength focussed session. It was great to quickly learn a lot about where my weaknesses in strength are, and how to overcome these with the equipment I have available to me. Rachel is very encouraging and approachable, and really knows her stuff which allows her to tailor sessions to your needs. More...

I worked with Rachel for about three months before leaving Cambridge. She was absolutely fantastic! Really new what she was talking about and was very good at tailoring a programme that worked for me. She has a style that is a nice balance between pushing you hard but without making you feel like you're at boot camp. I highly recommend her. More...

Q&As

When it comes to your health, I want your results to be life changing. And that means equipping you with a whole heap more than just a list of exercises and a meal plan then expecting you to work crazily hard for a few weeks. Sure, the workouts need to be in there and you need to know how to eat to get the results you’re after, but these are just the first steps; You also need the tools to ensure that the results you achieve will last.

Whether you're training with me 1-2-1 or enrolling in my coaching programme, I'll be arming you with the knowledge and the skills to keep you on track. See, I don't want you just blindly following my instruction, there's no autonomy to be had in that. Empowering you to take control of your own health is absolutely fundamental to keeping you engaged and motivated, and it’s my key ingredient to your long-term success.

Self-love!

Showing yourself a little bit of compassion means taking time to care for yourself. Caring through regular exercise and good nutrition is a great place to start, as you'll be building self-efficacy, self-confidence, and ultimately cultivating a relationship with your body where you're able to acknowledge and appreciate it for all the wonderful things it can do.

Helping people reach a place where they feel so much more comfortable with themselves - in their minds and their bodies.

It was time to step out of my comfort zone and see how far I could push myself!

I'm not a get-shredded-in-6-weeks kind of a trainer. However, if you're after a steady, sustainable, balanced approach to your health and fitness, then chances are we'll be a good fit.
